I've ordered GCMS notes but it didn't help much since the notes are as of April (date on which I ordered). and it took a month to get to me, I received just recently in May. I'm actually contemplating of ordering another but I'm thinking about waste of money. maybe I would order another one once I reached my 4th month. waiting sucks big time! :'(
I also ordered GCMS notes in April, they were generated on the next working day after my request and sent to me a few weeks after(!!) :-X
Not a lot of info in them. R10 was ok, and Medicine & Criminality were passed, everything else was not started. Application remained untouched for 3 months basically.
I am planning on ordering them one more time in a couple of weeks when I reach 4 months since AOR. Hope to see eligibility met.

What is weird - all the threads (Nov, Dec, Jan) have been silent for a the last weeks. I would expect at least these applicants to be actively processed. Looks like CIC just does nothing and then suddenly issues a batch of PPRs as an act of mercy to some long-waiters.

Yes, all initial checks (R10, PCC, Medical) were done within the first 10 days after AOR. After that no records at all. I am being processed by CPC-Ottawa.
I don't mind waiting as long as it's required, but I'd like to see some progress on my case :( It is especially frustrating to see some lucky guys getting their visa in 15-30 days.

I feel your frustration, mate. My case is also processed by CPC-Ottawa... How soon after AOR did you order your notes?

My AOR was on February, 5. I ordered GCMS on the 22 of April. And they were generated on the next working day - April, 25.

I ordered my GCMS notes on April 21st, 2016 and have not received them yet.

Is there any way to inquire about the status of GCMS notes?

No matter how much we anticipate all in all CEC is taking around 4.5-5.5 months to get PPR. Most of the Jan CEC AOR are yet to receive PPR. I'm at 3 months and 3 weeks (112 days) it will be another month or so when I can expect PPR. CEC had processing time or around 2 months last year but it changed this year.

I see. I panicked and ordered my set two weeks after AOR and there wasn't that much info -- medicals were passed and no reportable RCMP trace. And the rest was set for review. An interesting thing happened though when I sent a CSE with my bank statements (didn't bother to include a proof of funds because of my category, and then started panicking haha), I got a reply the very next day that those documents were attached to my application.

You should get them by Thursday. If not, refer to the confirmation email when you made the GCMS request it has a tracking number on how to get more information about your notes.

I am wondering who will prepare our GCMS notes? is it by officer working on our file?

If it is so, does ordering GCMS would be helpful in reminding officer to move forward our file if it got stuck up at any place?

Guys, I'm about to apply for GCMS notes. I was filling the consent form for ATIP when I read that I need to give a separate consent form for each individual on my file. Do I need to fill a separate one for my spouse? Wouldn't all the information be filed under my name anyway? (Im the principal applicant) Please help. Thanks

You Need to apply separate for Your spouse, Otherwise You get the GCMS of Your & Your dependent kids, and Your spouse data hidden.
Anyways its free, why not You apply one !!

You don't have to send another request for your spouse as long as you provide the IMM5744E - Conscent for a access to information and personal information request form, along with your application for GCMS. I did it and it worked!
