Hi guys!

Below is my timeline:
ITA - 13.01.2016
AOR - 26.02.2016
Medical passed - 02.03.2016
BG not needed - 06.03.2016
RPRF & BG in progress - 31.03.2016

What worries me is that my BG went in progress nearly 3 weeks ago and since then there is no news, but I've read on this forum that people tend to get PPR just in a few days after the change of BG status.
Does anyone have similar situation?

AOR 22nd Feb 2016
Medical passed 25th Feb 2016
eligibility review review in progress
NDVO call 15th april

Hi see my timeline in my signature. Since 24 Feb, I heard nothing. In frustration I applied for GCMS Notes on 1 April and for a BOWP on 10 April.

What's worse I submitted a CSE for change of address on 4 March. I included a copy of my signed lease agreement. As of today 47 days without knowing if my address has been updated.

I share your frustration. I don't know your category, but I feel as FSW Inland applicant I am part of the group IRCC prioritiizes the least. However as an Applicant I can do nothing but wait :(

Hello guys,

Take me to the group, please :)
My timeline:
06.01.2016 - ITA (CRS 477)
05.02.2016 - AOR
10.02.2016 - Medical - Passed
11.02.2016 BG - In Progress
14.02.2016 BG - Not needed at this time

I am FSW Outland, Ukraine.

I am PNP EE, not received any call ... Checking many persons from Feb got the calls but not other group pasted this thing . Is the calls scenario is only for Feb applicants ...

Today a visa officer from Ankara called to my company which I work, and talked to our human resource manager and me .
Our human resource manager talked very conservative, but he admitted my status and position in company.
I think that was not bad.

I have heard VO call for PNPs is not very common.

My profile status is still (Eligibility: review in progress / BG check: Not needed this time)

I guess no one in Feb FSW PNP case has yet got any call or any update on application.. this wait without any updates is just too frustrating.. my AOR is 11th Feb and no updates yet!!

So we have one person who applied for EE in this month
Anybody else who applied yesterday or applying today??

I applied February 2, 2016. My status right now is:
Medical passed: February 16
Request additional documents (CELPIP): February 11 (provided documents same day)
Scheduling interview: not needed at this time
A background check is needed: not needed at this time
Final Decision: not started

Anybody has anything different?, this waiting time is killing my patience.

Completed two months of waiting. Patience nearly running out >:(

Its quite stupid that PNP applicants have to come into Express entry program. Their documents have been reviewed and passed in Provincial program once. In old system Provinces used to pass their nomination letters to federal office automatically, then federals would declare PPR. Now PNP documents should be review twice and make a long queue. If I count the provincial review time, until now I am waiting nearly one year for immigration, and since now my status its not clear. :(

we understand your frustration. But think about the appilicants (including me), who have already been nominated because we have been in Canada for more than 3 years and completed our Masters here. Post which we applied under the traditional paper PR application and have to wait for 15 months to receive a decision.

Additionally, to get a faster result few applicants even apply under Express entry and spend huge amount of dollars on processing. Its more frustrating for us. But at the same time we need to understand that it is our decision to relocate to Canada and there are a protocol to get the residence. We are bound to abide by the system.

I dont mean to offend you but the people who have studied here spending lot of money and currently working here are waiting "WITH" the applicants from other countries. I hope you understand.

I have been in Canada for almost 4 years! I had to take IELTS 4 times because the system doesn't give me points for studying, doing research, and paying taxes each year in Canada. In the old system applicants would get points if they stayed two years in Canada!
Bottom line, we can't change the system! I still think this express entry system is better than the old one. At least majority of applications are finalized in less than 6 month. Hang in there, you will get the PPR soon.

Anna, your BOWP was processed very fast, not sure what superpower you have that we dont possess!!

My BOWP also got approved, it was paper application though.

My paper application reached on 25th Feb and It got approved on 15th April.

That was pretty quick for a paper application jaydipdave. I applied on March 14 but the processing times are saying ~90days for paper applications now. Did you get yours faster than the processing time?

Yeh. I wasn't expecting it before 2 months, but it was quick. Yours will also be approved within 6 to 8 weeks. It is good to attach a cover letter requesting urgent need of the permit.

It's been a very quiet week so far... My background check has been in process for more than a month now and no updates.
