Hi, every one
Received bad news today. CIC cancelled my application . :o :o :o Score --935
AOR-20th feb 2016
Medical Passed -24th MARCH2016
BG in Progress-24th MARCH 2016
APPLICATION REJECTED -29TH MARCH 2016

The reason was absolutely new i haven't seen it discussed anywhere in this forum. Wanted to share so it could be help to others ....

"The Police certificates from India that you provided with your application are not acceptable as they do not cover the full period of time spent in India. You have indicated in your address/personal history that you resided in India from February 2005 to September 2015 and the Police Certificates that you have provided only cover the dates from January 2014 to September 2015"

CIC had asked to provide history of residence for last 10 years in the application , so i provided them with the 3 addresses , where i lived in india .
and i provided the PCC for the place i have been CURRENTLY residing for last 1.5 years . and the same address is on the passport also .
They did not even mention which docs they require nor gave me an opportunity by asking for additional docs also ..

Pl suggest if any one has clue about this ...........

PCC is the most crucial document as it has been proved to be the most common rejection reason in this forum.

Rules for PCC are still not very clear as it has been seen that people were rejected for not providing PCC for countries where they have not even lived for 6 months. To be at the safe side you should provide PCC for every country you have lived in other then Canada regardless of period of stay(obviously this is my own opinion but its the safest of all)

you have not mentioned what is your address history but as a general rule provide PCC for every stay you had in India or any other country some folks are here from India so ask them the procedure and get a detailed PCC that covers every address you lived in. once you mention any address in your address history it becomes compulsory for CIC to see the PCC for that address. gather your documentation and apply again!!

Can someone comment on under which qualification does PCC falls into? Eligibility or BG?

Well it is a bit difficult to say, i have seen people getting rejected for PCC after 5 months from application. now the issue is eligibility and BC status are not updated in real time so you never know which phase you are in ( I can be wrong) in my opinion eligibility is a concern of having all the documents with your file, while BC is the study/verification of those documents and during the process it can make issues!!!

This is nuts :o
Now CRS has gone up, for those at 450 CRS can't even get another ITA if rejected.
Thank you very much JM - on your face

Thanks all. But few points.
The CIC site dose not mention to take a national PCC. They have even mentioned to go to SSP Mohali for PCC.
Secondly you can get a PCC in India only from the address that is mentioned in the current passport.
No state in India will issue a PCC for you if you are not residing there and the current passport dose not have its address.
Whatever information I have gathered is that they now require a National PCC and this term is nowhere to be found in any indian Givt.dept in India even on the passport office , embassy or external affairs ministry.
They require a PCC though passport office if you are residing in India and if not the through embassy.
PCC request through embassy also forwarded to the address you have in the current passport. CIC excepts it only because it's through ministry of external affairs and no specific address is mentioned.

I got PCC from the local PSK and it doesn't mention anything regarding period of stay or even current address.

Yes PCC from PSK doesn't mention anything regarding period of stay or even current address. I just says no criminal record against this person

Hi KAKA,

I'm sorry to hear about your rejection, although you can take solace in the fact that you will most likely get another ITA soon in the next draw.

Could you please clarify whether you were rejected due to a PCC from state or from PSK?

Thanks

my application was also rejected in last year due to same reason. Now I take PCC from PSK office and it covers whole period to time.

CIC has sent a message that your application has been cancelled and you need to apply again . I had got nomination from . ( EEBc). And the Bcpnp was specific to my express entry profile no.
What should I do now ??
If I apply again my profile no.will change .. Then how will the 600 points added in my new profile ???

Apply again, create new EE and send mail to province for giving attaching nomination to new profile. State reason of new profile. they will give 600 points to your new profile if you nomination is still valid.

If you check IRCC website, Punjab residents can get it from SSP office but that is only if u stayed within Punjab.
