I have submitted my AOR on 11th Feb.My wife is primary applicant.

My PCC and stay and travel details are as below. Please guide me is it ok or should I submit PCC again with CSE.

Citizen and Resident : India
Currently living at Myanmar for my work
Took Myanmar PCC on 28 January 2016 and translated in English
Got Indian PCC from India embassy on 28th Jan, 2016, No PCC stamp on Passport
Traveled to India on 6th Feb
Submitted AOR application on 11th Feb from India

Traveled back to Myanmar on 8th March and now going to stay in Myanmar for 4 -5 months.

Please guide me if above submitted PCC would suffice or should I submit PCC again with CSE?

If you have lived only in India and Myanmar for 6 or more months then your PCCs are fine. They are valid for the next 6 months, although CIC can request new PCCs during the progress of your application (if needed). All the best!

Tejas, I think you should be fine. You dont need any PCC stamp on your passport.

BG check would be the most time consuming part of your Visa Application...its where they run security checks & verify all the documents you have submitted....it could take anywhere from 4 weeks to 4 months or even more....hopefully it wont take too long in your case.

From my discussion with a CIC agent over phone....our files are opened & updated weekly.

AS for your signature on the forum.....you need to have made 10 posts to have that option enabled for you

Feb 16: Request for CELPIP
Feb 17: Uploaded CELPIP, medical passed and BGC changed to "In progress"
Feb 22: ghost email

My BGC has stayed "In progress" for about 6 weeks now, is it normal? Seems like most people's BGC changed to "Not needed at this time" after a few days.

HELP!! Little Discrepancy in score..

Guys, my EE profile score was 1029 with PNP nomination this was before ITA,

I had updated my new IELTS as my previous IELTS was expiring and so my score increased to 1038 and I received ITA . But I realized the ITA letter reflects my previous score of 1029 but not my current score 1038 . Will this be an issue? I already submitted my Application and forgot to mention about this discrepancy in LOE.

AOR-20th feb 2016
Medical Passed -24th MARCH2016
BG in Progress-24th MARCH 2016
APPLICATION REJECTED -29TH MARCH 2016

The reason was absolutely new i haven't seen it discussed anywhere in this forum. Wanted to share so it could be help to others ....

"The Police certificates from India that you provided with your application are not acceptable as they do not cover the full period of time spent in India. You have indicated in your address/personal history that you resided in India from February 2005 to September 2015 and the Police Certificates that you have provided only cover the dates from January 2014 to September 2015"

CIC had asked to provide history of residence for last 10 years in the application , so i provided them with the 3 addresses , where i lived in india .
and i provided the PCC for the place i have been CURRENTLY residing for last 1.5 years . and the same address is on the passport also .
They did not even mention which docs they require nor gave me an opportunity by asking for additional docs also ..

Pl suggest if any one has clue about this ...........

I think it will not be a problem, it used your previous IELTS score, bc it is still valid...

Sorry to hear that KAKA, but this is a very common rejection reason.
Since the police of each State in India provides PCC they need to see exactly the duration of the stay in your PCC.
IK it is too late but you should get new PCC which clearly states your stay in the address at the duration you mentioned in personal history.
Once you obtain that you should apply again.

This is sad.

You do not need to apply for PCC in each state. You need to get a PCC from PSK passport sewa kendra. It covers all of India. Your score is 900+ so definitely ITA in next draw. Apply for the PCC from PSK as it might take a week or so.
