As of now, only medical status is passed and BG changed from Not needed at this time to "Not started".

any body with the same updates ??

I already submitted Schedule 4 form as part of Letter of explanation in post ITA application. So no Schedule 4 form request for me

hi, I'm quite confused. Is the status "not started" the same with "not needed at this time"?

I'm seeing several status from here with "not started", while my status is "not needed at this time" :-[

You have already applied for PR, why do you need an OINP for? Sit back, relax, and wait for the PPR...

Hello everyone,
i have applied for PR and getting constant messages from the CIC. I am the main applicant and my husband has outstanding debts from bank in dubai. we did our own background check and it shows check bounces on his name. We are paying monthly. and trying to come to settlements but we had missed a few months they set deadlines which we did not meet. we are paying monthly= and IF we get a 'bad' certificate' saying we have debts but i can show our payments monthly and etc- what are the chances we will get accepted.

Please advice and help.

I think my application can get rejected as my old experience documents are not complete. The company HR did not provide letter according to CIC standards. They just gave a relieving letter.


ON a second note the Sheet is not updated corrected (Formula's of last column are incorrect.

Hello all Februarians,

I had a couple of questions that I hope you can help me with.

(1) I had travelled to India from Toronto between Dec 11 2013 to Jan 1 2014. Now, I had a stop over in the U.S for a couple of hours while going to India and returning back from India. While I have declared the trip to India in my address, personal history, I haven't declared this 2 hour stop over is in my personal, address, travel history. Should I submit a CSE to explain this? The reason I ask this is because the U.S is one of the countries where Indian citizens need to pass through Immigration inspite of not getting out of the airport to check back the luggage to an onward flight.

(2) I have submitted my EE application on the 17th of November (CEC Inland). I am now planning to go visit my cousin in the U.S for two days in Cleveland and then meet a friend in NYC. Do I need to submit a CSE for this trip post submission?

Your background status has already gone to 'Not needed at this time' from 'In progress'; which I presume CIC would have did a preliminary check on your file. If I were you, I would wait for few more weeks until a decision is made by CIC.

Or, if you are confident enough that your application will be rejected for sure, go for OINP.
