Hi guys,

I got PPR today. :)))

AOR date: Feb 1st

Wow that is truly remarkable. Congratulations for your new life in Canada. For the benefit of others like myself who think we have a long wait ahead, can you please state your category and timeline.

I read in another forum someone got PPR in 6 days but you must be 2nd in the list for applications processing at record speed.

It's dangerous to assume JoacRy :)
I copied-pasted that from one of his/her own posts. What you derive from what I posted is entirely based on your own bias.

Anyway, this should be good news to us because it means CIC is speeding up. Unless there's some special circumstance that made his/her processing so quick hmm this really got me curious and excited.

BREAKING NEWS

Guys I was following Jan 2016 AOR's , there seem to be cases past one week people are receiving PPR's ... That mean we could expect some quick processing too

When I said this few days ago, no one believed me & objected, few people PM'd me and I was offended- To all those People I want to say is Believe and have Trust on people , you all proved to be wrong, there was PPR's given to Jan applicants 4 days ago! And so today as well many received PPR's as well, don't forget not all applicants are Active on this forum I expect only 50% of applicants post there updates on this forum

Ignore those people. +1 to you. It's just that good news like this is hard to believe in at first, knowing that IRCC is generally not that generous and average waiting time is 4-5 months.

But since it's confirmed, I wonder how was it possible for the process to take so less time than before. It's either these cases are truly exceptional, or something has happened with IRCC that makes them process apps now so much faster.

JoaCry said there was one who got it in 6 days. I can't fathom how is it possible for a naturally long immigration process could take so less time e.g. medicals, BG check, verifications, registration, etc.

Or I hope not, but maybe it's a bug in the system like a couple of ones last year........ :-\

Hello Immigration Gurus,

My application Background check is needed status showing 'Not needed at this time'.
Does it means that BG check is completed? If yes, than why I did get any ghost email.

Please advise.
