I am curious to know about it too. My spouse's employer has no clue that we are applying for Canadian PR.

then how you got reference letters ?
My employer says, they got a call and questions were about company and person who signed reference letter. No question asked about me... I dont know if that was IRCC call.

guys, there is another person with Feb 16 AOR who received PPR. the guy is from Manila VO I think.

Just got an employment letter from the current employer with proof of employment, letters, etc. There was a document which stated the roles and responsibilities with the manager's signature.

Then possibilities are, if they call, they ll call your manager. Just for querying work etc..
