Good morning friends.

I submitted my application on 26-feb. After that i got 2 requests to submit schedule 4 and schedule A which i submmited.

Medicals passed
Review in progress
However bg check has been changed from not started to not nweded at this time. What does it mean? How come it changed to not needed when it is not even started?

Any clue?

That's the regular update flow. When did you complete your medical?

And after which stage I can be sure that now application will not be rejected ...

No one can be sure till PPR. for some people BG changes to IN progress when they get PPR. So patter is not fixed. wait for 2 months then can be little sure that application is complete, otherwise rejections have been in 5th and 6th month of application too, but those are few compared to number of applications.

You can not be sure about your Visa office.
You can get it from GCMS notes or by calling CIC

BLS does not issue the PCC, the embassy does. BLS just represents the embassy or consulate. Usually the PCC from the embassy has no issues. The PCC from the Police Station has issues as they give a time bound or address specific. Some people have submitted multiple PCCs from various states/cities because of these issue. That's the reason some of them have recommended apply the PPC from Passport Seva Kendra.

GCMS notes contain everything that a visa officer/CIC computer update on your file during processing.

If you are in Canada or you have relatives in Canada or someone who is PR or Citizen, you may do it for $5
Otherwise, you will have to use a company which provides GCMS services.

So what about visiting the home country for few weeks after submission of the documents? Does the applicant have to submit a new PCC after the return from home country?

I visit my home country before the submission. it doesn't matter since I went back only two weeks.
