They dont request Schedule A from everyone. They might request it if you leave gaps in your personal history or if you answer 'Yes' to any of the statutory questions. (No one has exact reason but this is what we gather from the forum)Radu1981 said:HELLO,
I have two question and I will appreciate if someone can answer.
I read several comment in this forum and I see that for many applicants CIC. requested Schedule A.
Which is Schedule A ?
When I submitted my application I paid just the application fee.My question is: CIC. will request for RPR just is my application will passed or approved ?
I don't understand.
Thank you.

Just go to RCMP and request for police clearance certificate with fingerprints, the reason they are asking for Police Clearance from here is because it is been more than 6 months in today's date since you have arrived here. so just get police clearance done and upload it. Good luck.TECC_Seneca said:Reposting this. Anyone else here got the RCMP document request for Canada?
Hello All
Urgent help. I got a request for an additional document just now.
Dear Applicant,
This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order for us to continue the review of your application, we require the following documents:
90856823 - Sneha Moorthy:
> Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate. You must provide a certified RCMP criminal record check based on fingerprints. Please check the CIC website (Obtaining Police Certificates) and refer to RCMP certificates in Canada for details on obtaining a RCMP Criminal Record Check.
Consult http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/cr-cj/fing-empr2-eng.htm for detailed instructions.
I had given my Indian PCC which I got here in Canada in July 2015, submitted my application in Dec 2015. So do they mean the Canadian finger prints?
Thanks
Got it. Thank you. Already got it doneKishanpal said:Just go to RCMP and request for police clearance certificate with fingerprints, the reason they are asking for Police Clearance from here is because it is been more than 6 months in today's date since you have arrived here. so just get police clearance done and upload it. How do I give my fingerprints and get an RCMP Criminal Records Check from outside Canada?TECC_Seneca said:Got it. Thank you. Already got it done
From outside Canada, I am not sure. And they would not ask you RCMP if you have not lived in Canada.kjz_box said:How do I give my fingerprints and get an RCMP Criminal Records Check from outside Canada?
If you have lived in Canada for more than 6 months after the age of 18, a background check may be automatically conducted with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). If your name has a 50% or more match in their data base, the RCMP may request fingerprints in order to confirm your identity.
For more information on how to provide your fingerprints from outside Canada, follow the instructions on the RCMP website.
Lucky you! I had to submit a postal application which is still in Transit :-(itoocandream said:Just submitted my application for SPF COC, the application form is available in the Singapore police website.
