Did you call cic , that why it changes to not needed at this time bec if we see under " not needed this time " reason is says,they didn't receive your application yet , so you have valid reason to call and ask them, why it is showing this on my cic acc , may b you will get you answers

Please reply with dates since background check went into progress as i have heard LVO takes much more time

Just to report an update: My BG check changed to in progress today . I had to renew my passport last month, sent a CSE to CIC with scanned bio pages of my new passport. But today received request letter to upload my bio page in CIC ,that's when i noticed my BG check has also changed to "in progress' from "not started". keeping fingers crossed for all of us.

When did you submit your CSE and did you get any email back for confirmation that they got you passport copies

When did you submit your CSE and did you get any email back for confirmation that they got you passport copies

I submitted my CSE in the beginning of December or could be end of November. I received the automated message. But never received any acknowledgement that says info has been attached to my file. you would think that they are on top of things,paying attention to CSE's that we send them, but doesn't look like it.
