Just an update, since I am inland FSW applicant - Aug 27 AOR

I received a ghost email on Saturday, and today they requested my proof of my work permit, which is strange since I uploaded it with my PR application.

Hi Sharma1990,

As I mentioned in one of my previous posts, my background check went from "in process" to "not needed" a week ago.
Things happening recently are kind of odd. Just hope this does not mean rejection on the way. My app is submitted on Aug 20, and AOR on aug 27.

Thanks!

Happened to me with kids' US birth certificates.. it was uploaded in my original submission on Aug 10th... however about 8 days later they send me a message requesting the birth certificates again! Both scans were very high resolution, so it wasn't about resolution or clarity. But anyways, of course i complied and re-uploaded the birth certificates immediately.

It's strange that you received your AOR a week after submission! Usually you receive it the same day or the following day.. You submitted on 8/20 and received AOR on 8/27? Was this the first AOR or was it a second AOR?

Don't worry about your BG check going from in progress to not needed.. this has been happening to a lot of applicants lately.. hopefully it doesn't mean anything.. possibly a glitch.. you may want to order your GCMS notes to get a feel of how your application is progressing. Good luck!

May be it will go 'In process' again after 2-3 days of submitting ur workpermit.. Just a guess.. But no need to worry here..

Hi tomneversfield,

Thank you for comforting words. I am more worried about my status here, since I do have work permit until August 31, 2016, but my position for which I get work permit ended on August 31, this year, and now I am looking for other job. Just wonder is it legal to stay in the country after your position is ended, even when your work permit has not expired yet. I also have tourist visa, however, I believe I should have leave Canada and come back.

Just wonder what is the rate of rejection after reaching 4 months? Mine app will be 120 days on Dec 17th as yours.
I guess the application can be rejected at any point, but still hope it is less likely after 4 months.

It's not uncommon to find BG check of applicants from "in progress" to" not needed" whenever an action or additional document is needed. In most cases, the BG check status change back to "in progress" right after providing the document.

Did you submit again? Did they explain what do they consider under role and responsibilities, that should be included in your employer letter?
