AOR in August 2015

how do we know Background check in progress ?

In my Application/Profile status, A Background check in needed has changed from 'Not needed at this time' to 'Not Started'

What does this imply?

When it is expected to change 'Background check started'

My application changed to "In Progress" for background check.

Basically Schedule A got some questions from 6.A to 6.K too. I assume that you had not filled these questions while submitting Schedule A last week.

They might be asking for those ...............

So my status is -

Review of medical results Passed
Review of medical results Passed
Review of submitted documents No additional documents are needed at this time
Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
A background check is needed In Progress Help
A final decision has been reached Not Started

I just got a schedule A request for my Spouse.....what is the purpose of this schedule A?

Also on the schedule A form....will I tick Principal Applicant or Spouse of the principal applicant.....asking cos I have the Principal Applicant for the PR application and the request is for my spouse.

I hope this is a good sign o...fingers crossed.

hey guys good day to everyone.. i need your opinion guys i got my aor on 6 of august this year and start the process of my application on 12 of august that is according to my ecas. i got 3 line so far still in process and background check on process. i have 3 more months left in my work permit by the way im currently working here in canada. now guys i wanted to apply an open work permit. do you guys think its posible? and is there any bad consiquences? do you think it will slow down the process of my PR?

Not to worry Vidya. You can send it via CSE and attach a note explaining that you only received the PCC after submission of the application. Once you submit it through this route, you will receive an automatic reply stating that your message will be reviewed in roughly 30 days. Based on my experience though, it usually takes a week for CIC to notify you that it has been attached to your file. I suggest you keep a copy of these emails for future reference, just to be safe. Goodluck!

They don't know what kind of decision BUT what I find out if they refuse your app. they are sending letter to profile first and after a week they updating to DM. If DM is first with out any info u will get e-mail from CIC to send passports. (I hope this work like that)
