Hello Michal...why was your application cancelled by cic by mistake...? Did you send a cse ?

I wish I knew. I got my application cancelled two days after AOR. No message in MyCIC or e-mail. Nothing. No reason given at all. I sent 3 CSEs. I called CallCenter. The only thing they were able to tell me is "cancelled by mistake". On operator even said - "you know, it must have been a wrong button"...
No reply to my CSE yet.

Thats not good...so i guess in this case you have to wait for the cse reply...it might take upto 15-20days... I'm not sure.

Hi all
I was wondering whether or not there are any steps after submitting EE application .
The last active thing I did was click on the payment confirmation . Is there anything else to do after that . I received AOR hours after that but now after 5 weeks my medicals haven't been updated and no ECAS access.
Any suggestions

Here is my timeline:

17 July- ITA
27 Aug- File submitted and AOR
xxx- Medicals passed
31 Aug- ECAS access - 3 lines. Processing.

I submitted my application through an immigration consultant. I don't see medical passed on ECAS. Anyone know where I can look up this information? (Please post the URL/link).

IS IT REALLY IMPORTANT TO HAVE "FULL TIME" OR "PERMANENT EMPLOYEE" ON YOUR REFERENCE LETTER?

MINE WAS- I am pleased to provide this letter to certify that xxxxx has been employed with xxxx effective xxxx 2013 in the position of xxxx NOC: xxxx. His official working hours are 37.5 hours/week and the working schedule is 8.00 am to 4.30 pm from Monday to Friday. His annual salary is $xxxx.xx and entitled to all standard health benefits.

It depends on what the reference letter is for. If it's foreign work experience, that doesn't matter. If it's for a job offer in Canada, then it is.

Mine is for Canadian work experience. I think I am in trouble now!!!

That is new. They requested an original test result? And gave you one week? It might be hard/costly to deliver that to Canada if you are outland.

Hello Michal - if you are an outland applicant, you are likely to write ielts instead of celpip.

celpip is only available in Canada.

Well, I know. I am an outland and I did CELPIP...
It was just strange that they asked for the original since they have the scan & the online access.

True, that's what I initially thought.

So.. I posted a new topic asking the forum why cic would request for celpip.

Cic doesn't have enough time for celpip background check.
They ask for original so that it's easy for them to authenticate the certificate.
