Hang on there, Yelena!
I've read of cases where BG went in progress several hours before PPR - that might be your case!
Also I've read about a guy who added his wife to his application close to the end of his process, and from that moment it took them 8 months to process his updated application - it sure sounds like hell of a wait, but he did get his PR in the end.
Did they request medicals for your family?

Dear Yelena i know its really painful to wait. But trust me..you will get the update for sure. Always think positive and it really helps! Good luck! :)

There's a light at the end of the tunnel!

Just received email from CIC asking for our passports/photos!!! I guess this means we were approved! :)

I also got a ghost email after the Passport request email.

In MyCIC nothing has been updated tho. But not that I care anymore.!!!

This is a great great news many congrats and a hope for all that they are still on our applications ...

Today is my last day. It will be complete 6 months today. Will call CIC tomorrow. But really hoping that I get the PPR today itself. ;D

Hope you get the PPR just today!!! All the best!

congrats to you :)

August is slowly turning into the saddest topic here., most of us are past the 6 months mark now, and we are still here :/

difficult to stay optimistic, but since we don't have any choice, there is not much we can do anyway.

I am moving to canada in the summer, got our work visas in the meanwhile, so if it doesn't happen now, it will happen at some point..

for those still not there, try to think of other, alternative ways to get there., it really helped me to stay focused and not to get overly desperate and sad ( or loose my mind in this process )

That's very true! Staying positive is key!
We were already starting our "plan b" in case we didn't get PR soon.

I got a question for people who applied inland and already re-entered as PR.

What are the papers that you need to present at immigration? (besides passport and I guess the PR paper)

Do we need to present current job letter? and other proof of that we are living in Canada?

Thanks!

I Don't think so. Still their is no harm in taking the job letter when you go, but i am certain they wont ask for it.

Thanks!
Just thinking that it is better to be safe than sorry.

Many Congrats!! So whats you category and timeline again?

Ok so I think this is my timeline:

FSW Inland
AOR : August 3rd
Request for RCMP: August 31st
Submitted RCMP: Sept 23rd (Nothing happened after this)
Requested GCMS notes: Dec 3rd
Received GCMS notes: Around Jan 6th (found out that we lost some points in recalculation)
Submitted CSE to CIC on Jan 9th (explained why the recalculation was wrong and that we shouldn't have lost points)
Requested GCMS notes: Feb8th
Had a ghost message "Update available" in MyCIC: Feb 24th. (but nothing really changed on the status of my application)
Received PR email: Feb 25th
Received ghost email 2 hours after receiving PR email
I'm still waiting for my latest GCMS notes.
