casoard, i sent a cse to the paris VO and they told me that they do not have my application... it is being processed in ottawa. i thought maybe the delay was with the VO, so now i have no idea why we are not seeing many european PPRs...

my BG check has been in progress since nov. 4. i agree, this waiting is horrible.

Maybe our applications are not processed in Paris, I mean Paris is not in charge for the final decision.

But don't you think Background checks are done by local VO ?

Is there somebody who could answer ?

Hi,

For a family of 4, how do they know whose pic is whose? For kids mostly... Do they have the photos in the visa stamp?

Why don't you write the names on the back of pics? This way, they won't mess up.

Hi,

I believe BC done by Local VO. When i called CIC they said that my file is in Abu Dhabi. Please share if anyone has similar experience.

i thought by this late stage the application would be in the hands of the LVO, but now i guess they do not have a lot of involvement in the process. i'm sending a cse to ottawa now, hopefully i can get more information.

Received GCMS notes. Don't understand any of it, but this - eligibility & medical passed, criminality & security in progress. Due to criminal record from home country it says POTENTIAL ADVERSE INFORMATION on file, all police clearances on file.
Came to the point where hope is gone and buried. Police certificate holds criminal verdict (not a criminal offense in Canada though)...

They did't asked for pcc when you came to Canada very first time?. You are inland applicant.

sarkar1989,

Did it move to Updated status in your CIC profile (as it happened to other PNP candidates). You are due for a PPR and hence plz keep us updated.

No they haven't. Even though PA had it with him, and even when he was renewing his WP at the border(PNP Nomination stated that he has criminal history to be checked), Officer looked into our file and didn't find any of it disturbing and told us our EE application is almoust complete. I am not the PA though, just a spouse :)

CEC Inladn yes

There is a cic manual on line someplace, about criminal inadmissibilitie, look for it and you might find something relevant there.

Has the verdict been fulfiled? Did your spouse pay the fine/served the time?
Not all criminal issues are cause for inadmissibility
