According to a theory here, when ur BG goes into progress , usually ur file is RFV i.e ready for visa... U can soon expect PPR. This has happened to many here so can be believed.... Not trying to give u false hope but I have read this hence posted.. :)

Thank you, guys. Hope everyone who's still waiting gets positive response soon.

Congratulations pspandya!

Hi guys
It s probably not the smartest question but still , I very much appreciate if you answer it.
What is the landing process ? how is it going in details?
I reside in Alberta now and I understand that I ll have to go to the Canada-US border to do so. However, what will happen next ?

And of course, congrats everyone who s received ppr. It has been very long journey for many of us. And those who haven't received it yet, please, try to stay positive. I spend five in a half years worried very much about my immigration process and it doesn't help, believe me. I still feel somewhat down and sick.

I have received PPR last Friday, sent what i needed to send the same day. I got COPR back yesterday (i was surprised how fast they return it) and went straight to the border to end this journey and officially became permanent resident :D

Someone asked what if the address in application is not the same as the one you put as your mailing address for the COPR to be sent to.
I had the exact same situation and there was no problems even though i put a different address.

Good luck to everyone!

Congratulations on PPR

Any of you guys received PPR without reference letter from one of the employers?

It is not possible to have a work experience in your profile and don't submit the corresponding reference letter. The system creates the documents submission list based on this info, so you will need to upload reference letter per employer.

In my case, I worked in more than one position with the same employer but I have one letter only from him. I submitted the same letter for the 2 position.

hi mohelmy, i also submitted the same letter in three different upload sections created in Mycic for three different positions. The single letter contains all the details for all the three positions... i worked in the same company and got only one letter. I hope cic will accept it and will not create any issue...
