I have contacted them and apparently I should wait for the same answer. Such an unorganized and irresponsible organization CIC is. I highly recommend those outlanders to double think before coming to Canada
I understand your frustration. But Let's keep calm & patience. We will get PPR email soon.

Just received the same response:

Your file is currently under review and requires additional verifications. As a result, the assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times.

Unfortunately at this time we are not able to determine when your application will be finalized, but our office will contact you as soon as all verifications are completed, or if any additional information or documents are required.

We appreciate your patience and ask that you keep correspondence with our office to a minimum. In order to process requests efficiently, we will not be responding to duplicate requests

Hi, I received the exact same response. Its looks like a canned response. The government thinks we are stupid and won't be able to figure this out that they are sending canned replies. They don't even have time to read our email and reply accordingly. Why the hell are they even giving us an option to contact them when they have nothing to say to us other than sending this stupid canned response. By now I already know its taking longer than normal processing time. What's new in that?? All I want to know is which verifications are they doing? Perhaps they should give us PR and hire us to reply to these inquires.

Exactly. And something that makes me even more frustrated is they ask us to minimize the correspondence. Seriously???? I have been living in Canada since 2010 waiting so long to be able to apply because of very stupid eligiblity criteria thay had . and now they want us to wait even more???? I contacted MP to see if I can figure out what's going on but I am sure even by that they won't move forward. I am soooooooo angry

I am with you on this. I don't even know how to react (I am stressed, worried, frustrated, upset, angry). Its not easy to stay calm in this situation specially when others who filed after us got their PR within 2-3 months. Sometimes I wonder if I will get PR before I die :( I am AOR 8 April and here since 2012. Haven't gone out of country since then. I am loosing hope

It's unfair. I undrestand

Sometime I wonder maybe I will get my PPR quicker if I withdraw my application and re-submit, I have no idea what my case officer was doing every day in the past 6 months?

Guys, Don't loose hopes. We will get PPR soon. Meanwhile, apply for GCMS notes. That's the only way you can get an idea about the file processing.I am in the same boat.

Hi Guys, i've been ordering gcms notes since the beginning of August on a weekly basis and what I realized is that we can only get new information once a month(you order the first on a specific date and then all others in that same month will contain the same info).

My question is:
I order my first in August 7 and got it in september 8, then I order another in September 5 and got it last week.
The thing is that the september one has pretty much the same informations the August one has, Though MyCIC changed a little bit along August.

Wondering if it's per month or per 30 following days, Do you guys have any idea? thanks.

Hi Guys,

On 12th Oct 2017, I got an updated on background check. It changed from IP2 to NA again. Did this happen to any one else?
I am 100% sure it was IP2 (not IP1)

Please someone reply, I am April 20 AOR CEC inland
I had the same situation and I freaked out, but about a month later I had Ip3and ppr came few days later

Seniors.

I'm on my 195th day.
I got a weird request from CIC.

We have begun processing your application for permanent residence, and in order to make a decision we require the following information/documents.
Additional Family Info IMM5406:
Please provide a separate and newly completed Additional Family Information form (IMM5406) bearing original signatures. Please ensure to include information on both of your parents, whether alive or deceased. This must be received at this office by: 2017/10/24 Please note that the requested information/documents must be received within 7 days from the date of this correspondence. Please upload these documents to your MyCIC account.

I have no additional family, not married, no kids.
Also, does this mean I passed eligibility and being SS now? And where do I upload the form in my account?
