I just called the 613 number last night. The agent said my eligibility and background verification are done but the application is not finalized. I asked further about security but he said he has no access to that information. He said the file is not processed in that office so he cannot tell him further details.

Background verification...is it like background check? I asked what the next step would be and he just said it's still in progress. His answers were quite confusing. What do you guys think?

Hi group, does anyone know how can I talk to an agent at IRCC?

I am FSW-Inland

After PPR I sent my passport along with 2 photos (one filled out with my info on the back) and annex form on 21/07/2017. They received it on 25/07/2017. They haven't approved the application since then and I'm getting worried. Want to know early if there is an issue so it's not too late.

Thank you.
Call +1 613 944 4000 then 1-1-1-7-0
It works even from overseas.

I'm stuck somewhere (don't know if it's IP2), with an AoR of April 26. Trying to hang in there--after all, there's nothing else I can do! I must say the waiting is really stressful!

Hey guys,
I applied under CEC (postdoc) in outside of Canada and received my APR in 8th April. I have just asked for sending my CV and a supplementary form about my supervisors... It is actually so weird to me that they even have asked for my husband's CV as well, while I am the main applicant.
Can any one here tell me which part of processing it could be? I have started stressing out, as I think this is a kind of document they must have asked me like 5 months ago...

One more thing is that on June, My husband was asked for providing criminal check (RCMP) and we sent it. Our Background check has changed to NA again... I can not understand it!
Can any one help me to understand what is going on? I feel like they are gonna reject my application....

I have posted this question to other threads about CV request etc. Haven't received any response yet... hope you guys know something about it...

Dear All

Requesting your urgent advice on the following matter:

I am an FSW applicant, AOR is 8 April 2017, Medical passed and BGIP1 on 9 June 2017, BGNA since 14 June 2017.

Yesterday, I found out from an IRCC support centre agent that my file was being processed by Visa Office in Singapore. The agent could not confirm the date when the file had been transferred to Singapore as the file notes did not contain an email confirming the receipt by Visa Office in Singapore. She mentioned that IRCC usually receives 'Confirmation of receipt' email when files sent to visa offices outside Canada are received by those offices.

The agent informed that my file was last reviewed in Canada on 18 July 2017 and it must have been sent to Singapore shortly afterwards. She advised that there is no need for me to reach out to Visa Office in Singapore as my application is still within the normal processing time lines. Further to this, I was told that I have passed both R10 check and criminality check and everything looks good on my file.

Based on the above, kindly advise the best course of action:

- shall I wait until the end of 6 months from AOR (8 April 2017) before contacting CIC?

- Shall I send an email to Visa Office either in Canada or in Singapore to get clarification regarding the file location or where it is being processed?

- If yes, shall I mention the call to IRCC support centre in that email?

Highly appreciate your guidance.

Thanks

Friends,

How many CEC applicants are still @ NA? Seems most in this group already got IP2 or PPR.

I'm in NA since July 18th, AOR 21st Apr. Completing 4 months!!!
