Hi
My AOR -5 April
Medical passed- 22 April
NBG - 22 April
Background NA - 3 June
No recent update so worried
To check/confirm the relationship of the applicant and dependent. When they are checking Birth certificates for children/dependants?
If it moves from IP1 to NA, does that mean, R10 is passed and chances of rejection considerably reduced? Mine changed to NA in just 12 hours after IP1. So I reckon they are doing R10 checks even before medicals are passed!I have heard that there some people like that in tracker, but never seen anyone in this forum. Two to three weeks after medical pass is the most hot period when maximum rejections for R10 seem to get reported.
Rejection due to missing documents is almost eliminated after IP 1 is complete, So in that sense you are safe, but there is still eligibility (as in most genuine cases security and criminality is not much issue for responsible law abiding citizens) i.e your experience is genuine and in align with your NOC etc. Your education is bonafide etc.If it moves from IP1 to NA, does that mean, R10 is passed and chances of rejection considerably reduced? It is not mandatory that education and work ex should correlate.Rejection due to missing documents is almost eliminated after IP 1 is complete, So in that sense you are safe, but there is still eligibility (as in most genuine cases security and criminality is not much issue for responsible law abiding citizens) i.e your experience is genuine, relevant, and in align with your NOC etc. Your education is bonafide and relevant to your work etc.
If you are confident about the above I would say in my opinion, your chances for rejection have considerably reduced. Wish you all the best.
P.S- Mostly R10 and medicals go side by side independently of each other, hence people usually get update on BG check as soon as medical is passed because the other process (R 10) was already being done.
As per my knowledge they should be in some alignment, meaning for example someone has done B.Sc Food Science and is working as a manger at some clothing store, he cannot then claim points for his B.Sc. In that way, I meant that the points you claim for education should be in alignment with your work, otherwise you will only be eligible for points in either one of them not both.It is not mandatory that education and work ex should correlate.
Not required for Canada. This is mandatory for Australia. As per my knowledge they should be in some alignment, meaning for example someone has done B.Sc Food Science and is working as a manger at some clothing store, he cannot then claim points for his B.Sc. Yes, I am aware of that. This is what I meant with some kind of alignment, that you should have basic qualification related to the NOC you are applying for. Under every NOC it is mentioned that one should have some degree or diploma in that category to be eligible to claim pints for that NOC.Not required for Canada. This is mandatory for Australia.
Here they just ask when did you qualify for that particular job. That qualifier could be a diploma, a graduation degree or a masters degree. This is in exception of licensed occupations.
I also have information that education and work experience can be completely unrelated! Or else half of the people here would be ineligible for Canada immi! Not required for Canada. This is mandatory for Australia.

I think this isnt correct.. @legalfalcon please help clarify. As per my knowledge they should be in some alignment, meaning for example someone has done B.Sc Food Science and is working as a manger at some clothing store, he cannot then claim points for his B.Sc. P.S- I do not claim to be a expert, just someone who has researched, I could be wrong. i ask other members also to express their views in this regard, so that no misleading information is passed on. It is most important that correct information is spread.
In Australia third parties like VETASSESS etc. verify your employment relevance and authenticity, Canada makes this decision on its own without third party involvement. But as per my understanding there needs to be some correlation. Not required for Canada. This is mandatory for Australia.
