Well after a week, this is the response from IRCC after enquiring as to the status of my application:

Please note that the processing times provided to you on our website are an approximation. Currently, your file is still in process and there is no maximum timeframe to finalize an application.
If further information is needed, the responsible office may contact you.

Just the standard response. Wouldn't it be nice to work for a company that had no timeframe on when a department committed to completing something?

Sadly not... mine is also via a Lawyer. But they are pretty good at updating me and chasing... which is better than some I hear about!!

I received my passport back with CoPR. I will be going to see my parents home for re-landing.

FSW - Inland (Ottawa VO), AOR April 21.

Called CIC. Everything is completed and the application is waiting for the final review. Yes, they also said to wait until March 2017.

What I can say or how I can comment this... It's life...
