From the optimistic side, I noticed (especially from other threads) that quite number of applicants have received their PPRs during the eighth and ninth months of processing. I guess the final review takes time these days. I am still waiting for GCMS notes but it would be a great idea for...

I think it is not a major thing. You would still get updates in MyCic so everything should be fine. I guess we just need to wait for their final decisions...

Privet :) How fast did they reply you when you submitted IRCC Form? Last time when I tried to do so it took them literally 10 business days...

Alina, privet I have a very similar response. In my cases it states "Our office confirms that your application is at our office. Please note that we cannot confirm when your file will be ready for finalization..." My AOR is in April though... Let's hope to get the final decision asap. :)

It is a good sign,I guess just final review left. Sooner or later they will review our applications. The most important that background check is completed. So at this moment, CIC doesn't need to wait the results from third-party organizations which is definitely good!

Did you order GCMS or called CIC? Is everything completed and your application waiting for the final review? Or security check (or background check) is ongoing? Whatever it is, we should hope that everything will be fine asap.

Yes that happens. It might take time and, to be honest, I don't understand the reasons for that. My 6 months passed on April 21st. Background / security checks from Canada, Russia and anywhere else were completed... But for some reasons the final review has already been pending for many weeks ...
