Did you order GCMS or called CIC?
Is everything completed and your application waiting for the final review? Or security check (or background check) is ongoing?

Whatever it is, we should hope that everything will be fine asap.

A few minutes ago, I called CIC agent and was told my background check and security check were finished.
Let's see if I can get the PPR this month.

It is a good sign,I guess just final review left. Sooner or later they will review our applications.
The most important that background check is completed. So at this moment, CIC doesn't need to wait the results from third-party organizations which is definitely good!

The list is shortening day by day, really hope its to my turn soon, 7 months already waiting for AVO

Finally done and dusted. Haven't landed yet but I have my COPR in my possession.

Things went a little differently for me after PPR so I'll document that a little bit.

October 18th; Got PPR but it was asking to post to Ottawa while I was living in Europe so I asked for a change of VO.

October 25th; I got my new VO and new instructions to send everything needed to London.

October 27th; Upload passport scans, updated bio info (eye colour, height, etc...) and a copy of the email to MyCIC. I did this through the IRCC Web Form.

November 1st; I sent 2 pictures along with a self addressed envelope to the London Address. Unfortunately I only had envelopes smaller than A4 (I sent an A5) but since I wasn't sure I needed to send the self addressed envelope I didn't really think it was a big deal and sent it anyway. For future reference, you should send an envelope, and it should be at least A4 size.

November 3rd; Received confirmation for documents uploaded through IRCC.

November 8th; My application was approved and closed.

November 11th; My COPR arrived in the mail (they sent in back in a new envelope of appropriate size).

I'm happy to report that I have recieved my PPR.
Since, I went via a consultant/lawyer, I recieved the information today... however, the letter is dated 15th Nov 2016.
221 days(7 months, 7 days) from AOR.
Passport and photographs have been submitted today.
Vo : New Delhi.

I wish that those who are waiting get theirs very very soon.
This forum is lovely to help those who wait ardently for good news... it makes the wait a bit easier to manage.

Thank you and Good Luck!
