AOR 1.
PNP outland
VO s.pore

an email came yesterday from spore VO:

"This refers to your application for Permanent Residence submitted to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in Singapore.

We are making contact to provide an update on Express Entry processing at our office. While we have been endeavoring to meet departmental processing timeframes, we realize that we are currently outside of the six-month service standard in your case. Earlier this year, our office experienced technical challenges with electronic applications while facing competing operational pressures in other lines of business. These issues have been largely resolved and we can count on additional resources to assist us.
We are currently working to bring Express Entry processing times back in-line with departmental standards. We want to reassure you that your application is being reviewed as a priority. You should expect news from us within the coming 4-6 weeks.

Thank you for your patience and understanding in this regard."

I guess it was some sort of relief to know that they are informed about crossing the 6 month frame!

Received passport back :)

Can I get the link to any forum (in case there is one) on disscussions related to landing with a renewed passport with visa in old passport. I need to understand whether this can be done without much difficulties at POE, as my PP expiring in March 2017 and so I am thinking of getting it renewed before traveling to Canada. But I am not sure whether it will be a right thing to do at this stage.looking forward for some guidance on this.

Spoke with a call centre agent last Monday who said:
"They have received all documents they requested so everything looks fine, just sit and wait"!

Quite frustrated now!

I have a question, I start my counting the date when I received my AOR after I submitted my PR requirements which is March 17, but upon reading the requirements of BOWP I read this on CIC website "The Express Entry six-month processing standard begins when an application is assessed as complete and is promoted in the Global Case Management System (GCMS). It ends when Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) makes a final decision on the application."

My representative said we only received an AOR after we submitted the PR requirements. But that letter was not the completeness check letter or known as R10. So it means I was not March AORners? Because the AOR (R10) should receive after how many weeks or months and it says that you are passed on the completeness check. But the agent said we didn't receive second AOR.

Base on my GCMS, the note 20 says on the Case Analysis the recommendation appears to meet A11.2 & R87.1 Requirements and this was created and update on April 29, 2016. Do I base on that date to count start the 6 mons process?

Hi, I think you have hit on an important point here! I found the website you refer to; link below. As you say R10 is the completeness check. In my GCMS notes (20) it refers to Principle Applicant, Spouse and Dependents as 'Promoted' at the R10 review stage. The word 'Promoted' is unusual (certainly within GCMS) and ties exactly with the wording on the IRCC website: "The Express Entry six-month processing standard begins when an application is assessed as complete and is promoted in the Global Case Management System (GCMS). It ends when Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) makes a final decision on the application."

I believe from the IRCC information you have identified, that the IRCC 'standard' is based upon when R10 is 'promoted' within GCMS. In my case that is circa 10 days after my AOR and puts my application within the 6 month target, just!

That makes me feel a lot better!!

A11.2 & R87.1 are not passed for me until Note 23, 1.5 months after AOR. But these are Eligibility Checks, not completeness. As per the IRCC website, their 'processing standard' starts after completeness, or R10.

Hope this makes sense and clarifies.

I thought this one was interesting and might give some hope to those with April AOR's. It does make sense, as back in March there were a lot of CEC Inlanders with PPR dates that were "after the six month mark" with PPR dates at 188 and 189. Based on the above and depending on when their R10 completeness was Promoted within GCMS... then they would more than likely have met the IRCC six month standard.

I firmly believe the count begins after R10 and not from AOR.

Happy weekend folks !!

I don't think this is right. I have witnessed lots of April AOR receive PPR before their 6 month mark. What you just said really makes me devastated... I was hoping to do my landing before end of November.

Sighhhh I am stressed and depressed..

Hey, honestly don't think you need to be stressed... with an early May AOR you are VERY likely to get PPR next week.... a lot of APRIL AOR (especially for CEC) were processed less than 6 months. However, it could be the week after based on IRCC info.. it could be tight for landing by end of November - but best wishes mate and hope you get PPR sooner rather than later!

For the candidates who received a call from the Ontario Immigration (Express entry)
What was the purpose of the call and the question normally they ask?

Thanks
