I was told the same thing by the lady on phone when I called her on 6th June. She said, "Your security check is pending, you should hear something by the end of this month". I tried to get more info like should I be prepared to wait longer and make life/travel plans and not wait for this to finalize?
She said, "If you don't hear anything by the end of this month then give us a call".

Almost 15 days passed since and I haven't heard anything. I even raised a CSE last Monday. No response yet.

If she said by the end of the month - TRUST HER...

Why r u panicking even after she told u that everything is ok??

Guys, received email for additional doc request that I HAVE TO SUBMIT NEW FRESH PASSPORT IN ORDER FOR CPC OTTAWA TO MAKE FINAL DECISION. what to do? Contacted embassy and other agencies they dont wann help since i am on implied status waiting for my PR and VISITOR PERMIT. My current passport still valid until nove/2017. Wts wrong with them thts so late? My AOR FEB 5/17. I thought since i am in canada i can finish my landing ASAP. Anyways my 180 days deadline is Augu 2/17 and after tht too i still have 3-4 months left on my passport. Any one faced similar situation? Wt to do.?

no, I think they were thinking your passport would be expired with 6 months assuming you could get ppr in August.

Hmm, they have already moved to Feb AOR. This means that they are completing the process but holding the PPR email for everyone.
