Got my PPR. Finally !!!!!
2 weeks at minimum. sometimes if they have high volume they keep passport to the distribution center which stays there until they request. in best case 1-1.5 weeks in worst case 3-4 weeks. I hope you get it soon. BTW what's your timeline?Hey Guys, I have a booked travel plan on July 15th. I wonder if I received PPR (hopefully soon ), will the time allow for the passport to go back and forth? May the guys who recently received PPRs update us on how currently does it take CIC to send us the passports back. Thanks!
once they stamp your passport with permanent visa they will send landing documents with it that will contain all the information/instruction about landingAfter receiving the PPR...The mail has instructions only to send passport to ottawa mail box. Does anybody have any idea about landing at the Canada border...like at Niagara's Rainbow bridge?

It will be better for you to wait for your stamped visa, even if you have to delay your travel (if that is possible). So Guys now I need your advise, is it risky to send the passport now before my travel on July 15th. I will back on 24th so I will barely make it before the 30 day duration.
My time line is
Application sent: Dec 24th
AOR: Dec 28th
Medical Passed: Mar 9th
Security in progress: June 1st
Application Finalized: June 21st (Based on CIC Agent on Phone)
