STUDY
Hello!
Anyone who has applied for a study permit who’s application is being processed in Buenos Aires VO? If so, could you share your timeline?
I submitted my application for SP and SOWP on march 23rd no news since I gave biometrics.
Thanks.

Hello! I applied from Chile for a Study Permit for the Winter Term 2022 (January start) and this is my timeline:

Application submitted: June 25th
Biometrics: August 16th

No further updates since. I received a ghost update today but nothing changed. I also submitted a webform yesterday but haven't received a reply.

Did you receive your study permit @Vero123 ?

Anyone else applied from Chile, Argentina or Paraguay?

I’ve applied from Paraguay (online) but i guess it should be processing by VO in Buenos Aires? FYI since 13/08 till now still waiting -_-

Got refused on last December

Hello... sorry for that! Me and my spouse were also refused and we requested the ATIP to review the notes from the Immigration Officer. The waited for more than two months and we finally received the ATIP. It is 69 pages long and the only notes left by the officer were 4 lines that had incorrect information about our application (like dates). We are now close to sending a second application refuting the causes for the refusal described by the officer. Did you requested your ATIP? Are you applying again?

Yes, still waiting for the notes to see details before we can resubmit it. Did you say 69 pages long!??!?, thats alot to review, anyway, good luck with your second submission

Good thing that you asked for them! The document is 69 pages long but most of it is just a record of the submitted documents and of the process in itself... not a lot to review honestlly. In our case, around page 50 was the only comment with information detailed by the officer and it was a small paragraph of 4 lines with incorrect information about our application. Will let you know what we do next! Let me know if you receive your notes given that it was the same VO that reviewed our applications. Good luck!
