Hi I am Canadian citizen and i submitted my spouse file to Delhi embassy in India for PR Visa in September 2015.
She is 5 months pregnant right now. and i don't know how long the file is going to take time????

i have 2 Questions if some can help me or give me some guidance or advise
1) What document from doctor should i submit to embassy to update file regarding pregnancy???
2) If we had a baby before her PR Visa, So what possible steps can i take??/
and if some experienced guys can send me the links to get the forms need to be filled after baby born it would be appreciated.

there's really no reason to notify cic about the pregnacy. though it sounds crass, until the baby is actually born cic really isn't going to care. Once the baby is born, it's a different story. If you are a canadian citizen, then you need to confirm whether the child is also a canadian citizen (it will depend on how you received citizenship - by birth, naturalization or through your parents immigration), if the child is a canadian citizen, you can still notify cic of the birth to strengthen your relationship validity. i'm not sure if it's required to notify them of the baby if it's a citizen. someone else will confirm.

if the baby will not be a canadian citizen when born, then you will need to add them to your application so that the baby can get PR status the same time as your wife.

Yes, OP must still notify CIC of the birth even if the child is Canadian but it won't affect the app.

If your baby is born before decision made on PR then yes tell them.. you can email them
IMPORTANT: If you are the applicant or an authorized representative, you must provide them with your application number in the subject line of your email and include in the body of your email the following information:
* Surname and Given name(s);
* Date of birth (YYYY-MM-DD);
* Unique Client Identifier (UCI) number / Client ID number;
* Category of Immigration (CEC, Provincial Nominee, Family Class, Federal Skilled Worker, Temporary Resident);

send a copy of the full birth certificate with father and mothers name.

thats all that they will need to know
