Anyone know how long does Beijing Visa Office send back passport?

Hi everybody,

I am sponsoring my wife who is from China. Do anyone know when will she get back hey passport from Beijing Visa Office?

On March 22, 2012, Beijing Visa Office requested the passport of my wife and the Visa Office received it on March 26. On April 19, the e-cas was updated from "in process" to "decision made". I have this message written on e-cas: "A decision has been made on "my wife's name" application. The office will contact "my wife's name" concerning this decision. Since April 19, we have not heard about anything yet. So far, my wife has not received her passport back yet. Do anyone know how long does it takes ?

I am in the same situation, sent her passport (with medicals and updated forms) on the same dates a you did, but I have sent these documents after a successful but long appeal process. I checked on Cas and Cas does not indicate a decision has been made. in any case
my question is the same, how long does Beijing office keeps the passport?

Good morning, I just want to know how long it finally took to get it back? We are running the same process from Beijing and we try to find how long it could take before we will receive information and get the passports back.

I have another question for you. Did your wife have an interview before sending her passport to Beijing?

My wife received her passport back on May 5th and the interview was waived.
