anyone got GIC Certificate....???

I HAVENT FOT MY GIC ACCOUNT DETAILS YET

HELLO ,

I HAD APPLIED FOR MY GIC ACCOUNT ON NOV 8 2013 , BUT STILL HASNT EVEN GOT MY ACCOUNT DETAILS YET. WHAT SHOULD I DO ? I AM GOING TO CALL THE TOLL FREE NUMBER MENTIONED..

I am also waitin for my gic ...my agent (sunrise chandigarh) is saying me to make a certificate from the bank regarding transaction remittance of 10120 attached with swift copyand asking me to wait till 29 . I also asked her that by dis is my case gonna be weak ...she said nothing lyk that even our students got visa by applying using swift copy and swift copy .

Any 1 here who got visa by using swift copy ??
I m rely tensed guyss please help

Cal them after 8 00 pm

Call ur intermediary bank and ask when they have debited the money to Scotiabank.
for ex if they transferred on 16th nov u will get certificate on 26th nov.
OR
Ask Scotiabank when they have received ur money and request them to provide the certificate asap because deadline is 29th nov as 30th nov and 1st dec is weekend

Anyone got GIC who applied around 11th november?

I called them again just now... told me same thing that we have received your funds and thats good news... then the guy on the phone transferred my call to someone else and he was not there and answering machine asked me to record a message and I will be contacted asap. I left a message...

I transferred on 8th nov and got certificate on 22nd nov
They have received the money, so dont worry u will get before the visa deadline but keep on checking with scotiabank

I called again, Barbara was not there ,I asked them if they could tell me when exactly they received the funds? and when can I get the GIC certificate? They said they understand my concern for visa deadline and all they could tell me on phone is that have they received my funds or not, they cannot tell anything else. Then asked me to record a message and tell all my details and concerns in the message and they would get back to me as soon as possible either by phone or email .

I had called them on 22 Nov and I received 1 hr back 9 30 pm IST
