Anyone else missing first few days of school because no visa yet?

I've had to book a ticket for 7th of September which means I will miss first two days of University because I still haven;t gotten my visa and I applied on 28 June in South Africa.

Yes, I am missing. Infact I have already missed orientation that started on 3rd August, and now my classes are underway. My University is supporting me via B-Link learning, they are sending me Video Tutorials of classes, study notes, homework and all that, apart from this I am uploading all my homeworks via web.
Looks really funny !! Isn't that. Well, they won't wait forever, I have only 3 more days to make it, Infact now I have almost made up my mind for defferal to the next term.

I'm gonna email my professors and tell them I won't be able to make the first two days and can they please email me assignments and notes so I'm fully caught up by the next week.

I wish you good luck. Atleast you should get familiarize with the syllabus and all contents. Its not important to attend "Orientation Program" (Well, by rules its MUST for every International Students). In emergency you can skip this part
