You sure it is a two year course... there is a person in this thread, who is already in UVic doing MS in CS - Industrial option.. He told it is a one year course..zim1988 said:

if you are in a rush sure you can complete ur masters in 3 terms(any option thesis, course based and industrial) that is 1 year.
here is the thing you have to complete 9 courses and project in industrial option to graduate. So its like 3 courses per term and your project work. Even if you complete your masters in 3 terms you have to pay the fees for 5 terms (rule of university). If you complete your masters in 1 year you will get a work permit for 1 year. So choose wisely

The letter you will get from uvic will have something like this mentioned on it.haris00 said:

Sometimes you can get the visa for just 1 year which is not the thing to worry because you can get that renew. What you can do is explain in your SOP or letter of explanation that you have to do 2 terms of co-op hence the course duration will be 2 years and you might get a 2 year visa.

GRE: 303 (Q: 155, V: 148)
IELTS: 7.5 (with no individual score less than 6.5)
Work Experience: 1.8 years in web and mobile application development
Won numerous competitions for my Final Year Project
What are my chances of admission? Thanks in advance
