Anyone applied for visitor Visa from UK in month of June or late May 2019

Hi Guys,

Just looking for people who might have submitted UK visitor visa application in late May or Early June 2019. I had submitted on 1st of June and still waiting for online status to change from Currently processing
 
I applied for a tourist visa last week. Got a biometrics appointment invite late on Friday night, so that's my progress so far. Last year, it took about 1.5 months for my transit visa to be approved.

Wow 1.5 months. Thats a lot. When i submitted my application it was showing 22 days and till yesterday that changed to 35 days expected processing. Not sure which date to take into account before i email them my application has gone over the time limit

There’s no timeline/time limit. However, when I was running out of time last year, I sent a case-specific enquiry, and that seemed to have worked. Give it a reasonable amount of time first, though. 1,5 months is not that much!

Did u book your flight tickets at the time of submission of your application. As i did since it mentioned on their list of documents submission to attach flight tickets. Now i have to reschedule them :(

We had to book tickets well in advance anyway. Thankfully, they're flexible, but if I can't go with my partner to see his family and our friends, there's not much of a point in me going alone. Do send them a polite email, then, perhaps?

I live in Ireland but apparently, the Visas are processed in London. Submitted my application on 3rd June, gave my biometrics on 5th June and haven't heard back since. It appears on my portal that the background check is undergoing but the eligibility check has not been initiated. Same as you, the processing time suddenly went up significantly. I booked my flights as well and now I might have to change them, which I don't mind; I just want to go!

I submitted a query just there and I hope they would speed up the process.

I have a valid US visa and a previous Canadian visa (albeit transit). Was hoping for CAN+, but it doesn't seem to be happening, oh well!

I have seen from other threads that some people got their Visas only after two months...Fingers crossed now it won't be us!! Does anyone have any news?

Applied on 4th June. Received biometrics letter on 6th, submitted biometrics on 14th, background check is ongoing. My flights are booked for late August and I am keeping my fingers crossed.
Please give us an update if any of you guys get any news.

Hi,

I have submitted my application on 27th April and have given biometrics on 3rd may. But still I haven't received any update on my application.

Even based on the current processing time (i.e. 43 days) you should have heard back by now. I'd suggest sending them a case-specific enquiry.
