Hi guys, I applied on 10th June 14th Bio metrics, but my traveling date is 9th August with confirmed ticket. When i applied the wait time was around 22-25 days and now it is coming up as 47 days. which time will be applied on me? and if anyone could give me an idea when should I send a web form inquiry?
there has been no movement on my status, it still says processing and review of eligibility has not started yet.

Our timelines and application status are pretty much the same. The advice is to send a webform only when it has passed the published processing time. In my case, I sent a webform last Friday to give them a nudge (hopefully). My travel date is 22nd August and I'm getting nervous as well.
Thanks for the reply Heina but I am slightly confused about the stages. I read you said on first page that background check is going on, but then u said review of eligibility has not started yet. If the status just says we are processing your application and we'll msg you when we start eligibility what does that mean? Does that mean they have started looking into the application for sure or its just a generic message.
Looks like we're all in the same boat. My travel date is 16 August, and eligibility review hasn't started yet. I think "background check in progress" is the default option, so doesn't mean much. Last year, when I applied for the transit visa, it took a couple of days between "we are now reviewing your eligibility" email and decision. Have you guys received any acknowledgement emails after submitting biometrics? I don't think I ever got one.
None whatsoever. I agree I think processing background check is the default. In my CIC account home page the status is Submitted - think this will be changed once they actually start processing it.
Hopefully we get something by end of week.
I got my visa yesterday.
Applied on 1st June,

Decision made 27th June and
Passport with visa stamp received 9th July

Lucky you, it is still the same for me and I have sent a web inquiry form today! lets see! I can see above you gave finger prints on exactly the same date as me but you submitted the application earlier.
Hopefully you'll get the visa soon.
