Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

Congrats sir. So 3 months tlga?? Hows ur papers?? Ako d na aabot.. may history kasi ako ptb pero nqtapos ko na treatment and successful.. so pano nila sinabi sau sir bakit ka nagbpa sputum collection

Sabi kasi sa akin 9 weeks daw yung sputum culture, so tumawag ako sa IOM after 9 weeks tapos sabi sakin may result na pero kelangan ko pa rin daw bumalik sa doctor nung Aug 20 (3 months after my first chest xray). Yung sakin may nakita lang na maliit na scar sa right lung. sabi ng doctor, probably from a previous respiratory infection na nagheal on its own. protocol lang nila na kelangan nila ireport yun sa IRCC pero sinabi naman niya na wala naman daw akong TB. hehe.

Waiting for my visa application result pa ako, siguro mga 2nd or 3rd week of Sept. hopefully ma-approve.

question sa mga nag apply through SDS: saan inuupload yung SOP? kasi nung naglodge ako ng application online, wala dun sa list of docs to upload yung SOP. and after I submitted my application, nagrequest sila ng additional docs like Police Certificate pero hindi nila hiningi yung SOP.

Aug 27 - Medical Exam passed
Aug 29 - Request for passport

I got approved ngayon ngayon lang. They’re requesting for my passport already. I thought the no. of days begins from the time I passed my medical. Hindi pala. Here’s my timeline:

Aug 5 - Online submission of application (SDS)
Aug 23 - Biometrics
Aug 27 - Medical Exam passed
Aug 29 - Request for passport

to clarify, after submitting my application i realized na hindi lahat ng docs pinaupload sakin. wala dun sa initial list of docs yung SOP and NBI Clearance. nung nagbasa basa ako sa internet yung iba inupload nila yun via IRCC webform a day after submission.

(btw para sa iba na mag-aapply pa lang, yung IRCC webform is a totally different page.. hindi siya part nung Account page mo. parang sort of Customer Service page siya tapos ienter mo yung Application/UCI number mo for their reference. tapos may section na pwede ka magupload ng additional docs.)

a couple of days later, dun sa account ko may natanggap akong message na kelangan ko raw iupload yung police certificate ko.. nagtaka ako kung natanggap/binabasa ba nila yung sinusubmit via IRCC webform kasi naupload ko naman na. pero anyway, dun sa profile ko, naupdate yung list of docs and biglang meron na nung Police Certificate field so dun ko na inupload ulit.

yung hindi ako sure is kung natanggap/nabasa nila yung SOP ko via webform. kung hiningi nila ulit yung Police Certificate, bakit hindi nila hiningi ulit yung SOP? haha. yun lang yung hindi masyado clear sakin during the entire process.

Regular minimum wage is $14. I guess for the max hourly rate will depends on what kind of work.

Yup, 2 months ago pinadefer ko na sa Seneca yung admission ko to Jan 2020. Good luck on your application!
