Oh thank you for the info!

You have a legit reason naman pala for staying that long, hehe. Don’t be nervous. Good luck on your certification. :) hehe, best of luck on your academic goals!

Correspondence letter regarding biometric validity

I suppose your next step is to send a webform inquiry and follow-up your application status. It has been 4 days overdue for your Regular Stream paper-based (42 days) since your biometrics enrolment. Hope you'll get the decision within the week. Wishing you all the best!

The ticket I was eyeing sobrang mahal na, lampas 1K usd . If you’re planning to fly and then sunod sila after two weeks, sa pagkakaalam ko, according to the consultant i asked, oks lang daw yun. Ang hindi puede is if yung dependents ang mauuna.

Hay ang mahal na ng ticket. I’m thinking of booking two separate tickets na nga. Tapos imbis Vancouver, somewhere in the States ‘yung layover. Kung sobrang haba ng layover, I’ll go exit na lang for a few hours.

We just bought today, and booked on the 24th. That's the cheapest that we can get. I need to be there on the 26th since I have my orientation already. Hahahaha. Ticket was 1098USD each.

Mas cheaper nga kung US ang layover going to Toronto. But the thing is, we still need transit visa to get through the US immigration. It will cost us 160USD din plus 32days processing, so we still opt for the direct flight. Konti na lang din naman ang difference.

Guys.

Need pa din ba ng POF sa POE??

Thanks po.
Poe? Point of entry? You can show them the proof na nag wire transfer ka pati yung declaration mo ng dalang cash on hand or cheque kung lampas ng 10k cad.

Oh. What if po hindi pa nakapagopen ng bank account sa Canada? Can I just show them yung mga sinubmit ko sa VAC?

They normally reply within 5 working days. Nag send din ako ng inquiry thru webform since CIC has not yet released any decision regarding my application for more than 6 weeks (exceeds normal processing time).

Yung POF kasi natin naka peso nung nag apply tayo. Since kailangan mo ng cad at para hindi ka na magdala ng malaking cash, better to wire transfer it. Sa pagtatanong ko sa friend ko na nandun na sa Canada, yung ginawa nya- she created an online acct via Scotiabank and transferred the fund needed. The bank will give you an email, proof showing na may pera ka na dun. Then that investment account will then be a personal or savings account once you set an appointment with the bank. Physical appearance needed.

(Guys please correct me if I am wrong. Thank you!)

Oo nga tama ka, it wouldn’t be practical for you guys pala. Too much of a hassle. Better to do a direct flight, especially ‘coz you have a kid in tow nga pala. May God bless your family’s journey!
