Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

Hello po!

Hi just want to know if someone encounter same situation?

We’re applying for study permit my husband will study there and I’ll come with him. His course will take for 2years.

The question is, they’re asking me for documents saying “Purpose of Travel-Others”.

Example of what can I provide are:

• Your flight ticket departing Canada;
• Your travel itenerary (e.g. places you will stay or visit, such as hotel or booking)
• Proof of medical appointment.

I don’t know what to provide them if I’ll be staying there until my husband finished his course. In my knowledge they will issue open work permit for me. But why are they asking for that documents? What documents can I provide them? I hope someone can help me. Salamat po!

na figure out nyo na ba kung ano ang i-u-upload dito? based sa mga nabasa ko, since wala naman tayong ma pro-provide na ticket paalis ng canada o accommodations, o medical appointments, ang nilalagay ng iba a LOE (Letter of Explanation), ieexplain nyo bakit nyo sasamahan ang husbnad nyo sa Canada. pwede nyong sabihin na mag wowork kayo habang nagaaral siya, para matulungan siya, o support sa kanya.

1 year lang po ba yung program mo? pwede po mag apply ng pgwp if meron na po kayo certificate of completion or diploma. kung di pa po nakukuha ang diploma, kahit po certification lang ng school na natapos mo na po yung program at waiting pa lang sa convocation.

Kailangan po boss na matapos muna yung program. Eto po yung eligibility:

According po dyan, pwede po makakuha ng PGWP kung na accelerate yung program mo (i.e. 2yrs sya pero completed mo ng 1yr lang).

yes i know. ang ibig sabihin ko po ay, kung mag upfront medical exam tayo, 2 ang pwedeng kalabasan na result, approved or refused, kasi lahat ng requirements naibigay na natin.

ngayon, kung mag submit na ako ng application, pero ang gawin ko ay hindi upfront medical, aantayin kong i-request nila. ang question ko ay, kung mag request sila, ibig sabihin ba nuon ay, kung ok ang medical, ok na lahat? ibig sabihin na check na nila yung yung ibang factors for eligibility, medical na lang ang kulang? OR kahit na sa proof of funds, sablay and sa SOP, sablay, hihingi pa rin sila ng medical exam?

1. Hindi po porket nag request sila ng medical ay ok na po. Ung application po natin ay dadaan sa eligibility review regardless na passed ang medical. Sa first application ko po, hinintay ko po ang request for medical, with 22kcad pof. 2 pages sop. Pero refused.
2. Kahit po sablay ang pof, at sop, magrerequest pa din po sila, kasi as per cic website, standard procedure po sya. At pag naglodge ka uli sa second app, ang medical ay valid for 1yr, may mga cases na pag ung vo pinaulit ka sa medical ay wala tayong magagawa kundi magpamedical uli

The only thing na maganda sa upfront is less hassle na po para sa atin at sa hahawak ng case natin..

Sino po dto January intake Fanshawe college at may alam n pwdeng maka rent ng safe at affordable apartment, room etc., nag-hahanap kc ako...wala akong near friends or kakilala n pwedeng mag assist sa akin.

Nung naglodge po ako ng application, wala akong SOP at di ko rin naisama yung NBI clearance ko and naging okay naman. Sa Edmonton, Alberta ako pupunta. I am a student of Paralegal Studies in Grant MacEwan University.

thank you! naisip ko lang, baka makahanap tayo ng way na mag ka idea kung ok o hindi hehehe well, kung kahit ma rerefuse at mag rerequest pa rin sila, mukhang walang way nga to know kung ok o hindi

Ganun nga po, sabi din po ng mga taga VFS, maski sila ay hindi nila alam paano chinecheck ng visa officers ang application natin.. on a positive note, as long as u meet the requirements, strong sop, ay good to go po ang application.. most importantly, kung para sayo yab, ay ibibigay sayo ni Lord goodluck and godbless po. Kita kits po sa Canada
