Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

Online application: March 3rd
Request for Medical: March 15th
Medical done: March 15th
Medical submitted by panel: March 21st
Medical passed status: March 23rd
Approval: March 26th

Tanong ko lang po sana if matanggap ako ng isang company na in-applyan ko and willing to sponsor my work permit ay pwedeng i-apply pa rin without touching the current approved na study permit? Classes po will start pa ng September 2018.

Ang plano po kse ay if ever matanggap sa work and ma-approve ang work permit, hindi ko na lang itutuloy yung studies.

Pwede PERO HINDI KA PWEDE MAGTRABAHO while on student permit. You need to switch your SP to WP. Also kung ang job offer mo hindi skilled sayang lang kasi di ka maPR nun, generally.

I was accepted in okanagan college for september semester last week, Im browising the cic online application for student permit,however it confused me what to choose for my children ages 7 and 3. Will i tick the student permit in applyng for them or transit?

Will i choose the visit all other types for my 3 year old son and study more than 6 months for my 7 year old son. Thank you for the help

May tanong lang po ako, sana po masagot Balak po ng parents kong mag apply through SDS po. May LOA na po ako. Yung GIC na lang po yung kulang. Bale ngayon po inaasikaso na po namin ang GIC ko. Sa mga guidelines po kasi doon, dapat nakapangalan po sa akin yung account or kasama po parents ko. Kaya balak po naming mag open ng sariling dollar account ko. Okay lang po ba yun na bago? 20 years old pa lang po ako, fresh graduate po. Undecided rin po kami kung sa BPI po or BDO kami magoopen. Okay lang rin po ba na magpapalit po kami ng peso to CAD sa labas. Instead na direct po sa bangko. Okay lang po ba yun? Thank you po in advance

TRV ang applyan mo. Tatakan passport mo ng visa officer and might get a visitors record. If not allowed ka lang magstay for 6 months.

Doesnt matter kung peso o dollar account ata basta ang funds mangagalign sa pangalan mo.

N accept na po ako sa school, so im tryng to apply online as a student accompanied with spouse and 2 kids, so saken po student permit, spouse owp, s 7year old ko po sp din and sa 3year old ko po visit all other type?
Or kami lahat TRV iba pa po ba yun?

Hi! It's okay kahit bago lang yung account as long as it's your account, not your parents' account.

Here are the conditions for sending a wire transfer:

• Scotiabank must receive $10,200 CAD.
• Incoming wire transfers will be rejected with funds being returned (less our charges) in the following scenarios:
  • If Scotiabank receives less than $10,200 CAD. Note: All fees associated with sending the wire transfer must be paid by you
  • If a wire transfer is sent from a source (e.g. money transfer services, forex services, etc.) that is not a bank in Philippines where you hold your account.
  • If payment is received from a third party (e.g. parents, relatives, friend, etc.).

Undecided rin po kami kung sa BPI po or BDO kami magoopen.

I recommend BPI, because BPI can wire transfer to Scotiabank whether you have a peso or a dollar account.
Nag inquire ako sa BDO if they can wire transfer using my peso account tapos convert na lang nila to CAD, di daw pwede. I need to have a dollar account daw.

Pero since you mentioned na kayo na magpapalit sa labas at magdadala ng CAD sa bank, pwede yun. Open ka ng Canadian dollar account on your name. BPI has lower maintaining balance, $500. Sa BDO I think, $1000.

Of course study permit yung sa yo kase mag aaral ka. The TRV is for your 3 yr old kid.
