Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

Hello! Yes, it is always safer to take a 2 year program to qualify for a 3 year pgwp. One of the reason being is minsan po kasi natatagalan ang freshgrad makahanap ng work. Maswerte po ako na before graduation may nahanao na ako work pero almost half pa po ng classmates namin is survival jobs pa din and we finished April 2017 so that gives you an idea na if 1 year lang ang pgwp mo, baka kapusin ka sa oras in meeting the requirements of CEC under express entry. Unless ofcourse nagpakasal kayo, or fpund an employer that will sponsor a work permit when your ogwp expires tapos hindi pa kayo PR or at the minimum, hindi pa kayo nakapag submit ng post ITA documents po.

Ahhh okay kuya thanks po. And one more thing, 3 months na ko dito, may possibilities ba na mag vacation ako after a year? tapos i heard kapag after ng study mo ng 2 years, yung 3 years na extension to work sabi nila bawal daw umuwi ng pinas.. Was it true kuya mic?

As long as you have a valid study/ work permit and passport, pwede po kayo lumabas bansa. Just make sure lang po na di affected ang work or studies ninyo. Yung mga classmates ko po noon, pag school break nauwi sa bansa nila. Yung mga work permit ngayon, umuuwi pa din naman for vacation.

Yes, it's highly recommended. That can speed up the processing bcoz you don't have to wait for medical request. They will ask for it anyway kaya upfront na lang. Isama mo na din NBI clearance and police certificates from all countries you lived for 6 consecutive months since the age 18.

Police Certificate : What if you worked more than 10 years ago in other countries,
Kailangan pa rin pa ba Police certificates? Hinde na naitago documents like passport or residence id.
Or at least in the last 10 ten year will be sufficient enough for the application of Study Permit..

Hi all, I am looking at the option of going through student as canada for me and my partner. Meron ako profile sa express entry at CRS 426 pero parang matagal pa bago magka ITA and less chance based sa current trend. Nag apply din ako sa PNP ng PEI and NB kaso wala naman reply. We are hoping sa ontario kaso mataas din score dun and profile was created last Dec 2017, ayaw muna namin mag recreate kasi sa tie breaking rule baka di rin kami makuha. Now my questions:
1. My partner is 34, pwede pa ba sya mag aral? May age limit ba as student?
2. Nakatapos sya ng engineering, pwede ba sya kumuha ng hindi related course or kailangan engineering ulit?
3. Ilang years minimum study Para magkaron kami ng additional points sa express entry?
4. Sya mag aaral at ako naman mag wowork. Ok lang ba yun?
5. I read somewhere na after study e we need to leave canada?
6. Magkano minimum fund? As of now kasi, ang fund namin is just above required for EE which 16k cad.

Not sure eh. NBI clearance lang muna bigay mo, kung hindi ka hiningan ng police clearance from other countries na tinirahan mo for 6 consecutive months, then good for you. Kung magbaback read ka kase meron mga iba dito hiningan ng police clearance from other countries while their application is being processed.

Ang hassle nga pag ganun pag super tagal na.

Hello guys. I just want to get your opinion. May kapatid po ako sa canada with working permit only. Sabi po nya i can stay to their house,pero accomodation lang po ung matutulong nya. Nag create po ako ng gckey for online application and uploaded some docs.
But we changed our plan po na mag submit na lang paper based.
Pano po dapat ko gawin? May dapat ba ako gawin dun sa gckey na ginawa ko? or ignore ko lang yun and submit paper based?

Thanks Tinzz, kung sakali I need 4 police certificates. Wala na ko copya ng to Residence ID to apply sa mga Consulate. I've been in 2 countries in Gulf. 1 in Far East. Nabasa ko CIC.GC.CA , if you cannot provide PC, you need to explain.. Bk 2 nalang I secure ko. Bahala na si batman...

Do i need to bring some form like the IMM1017E? Where do i get it, or punta lang ako sa authorized panel physician ng cic sbhn kolang mg pa upfront medical ako? thanks again
