Hi RomanSky! pasensya na medyo naging busy lately in preparation for my daughter's flight. Yung case kasi ng daughter ko ay iba, Uni had offered her an entrance scholarship and we applied for transfer credit thereafter and luckily it was approved dahil halos parehas lang ang course taken and applied. She was still an ongoing sophomore college student at that time (this year lang) when we applied and received the LOA. So, dahil sa advanced standing continuation na lang yung remaining 2 years undergraduate degree nya since she is considered a transfer student (going 3rd year sa Uni sa CA). I guess, we just demonstrated and proved that she really is a bonafide student and as per MtA, Uni has a unique acceptance and admission process kasi decisions are based on academic record etc. Salamat din at good luck sa iyo. God bless. :)

Hi Pinay-ay, thanks sa reply. Wow! with your daughter's case no doubt sa Visa Officer ma approve Study Permit.
Sa mga waiting for approval and mga sa susunod na mag aapply hopefully positive din. :)

Hi RomanSky! God bless. :)

Question lang po sa may nakakaalam. May maximum number of years po ba ang pag-e-extend student permit? Thanks po.

Sa NAIT to be considered as full time studies, student should take 9 credits (3 subjects ) per Semester.

Hi Angel_17! I can feel your emotion. Same here, also found out this forum right after the submission of my daughter's study permit application. I must admit I was so confident about it since the very start finding a school up to applying a study permit. I even relied on the specified 5 weeks processing time from cic where we lodged our application. Confident enough that we haven't been denied of any visit visas before. Don't get me wrong but we do travelled a lot. We even delayed the submission after she turned 18 y/o to avoid guardianship requirement while renewing her passport. But upon reading those posts sobrang kinabahan at ninerbiyos talaga ako. My husband and daughter were so upset kasi nga sobrang affected ako and told me to stop visiting and reading this forum anymore hahaha. Cheers and good luck. :)

Well hanagat di ka pa tapos sa course mo you can keep extending your student permit.
However, there is an issue about working 20hrs/week.
You need to be studying on a full time basis. If you are not studying full time you cannot work 20hrs/week.
And if you will not be studying full time the next semester, you cannot work full time on summer break.

To be considered full time e dapat 9 credits per sem (3 subjects sa university) so ok po talaga to para makatipid. Does it mean na you are legally allowed to work? Or may iaapply pa na work permit chenelyn na separate dito sa student permit? Salamat po!

depends on when you will submit your passport to VFS for stamping...

it usually takes a few days to a week by courier/pickup... mine took like mga 3-4 days by courier.

hi kapatid! i just wanted to clarify/inquire on something:
regarding the 20hrs/week, I read somewhere here that it applies for off-campus work tpos iba pa yung sa on-campus (meaning you can work two part-time jobs [both on and off-campus]), is that true?
