Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

salamat po Hi apple and emc2, just to share, when i first applied i did not submit police certificate nor a medical test. They do not require it when u apply in UAE.
It can be true as when i receive my rejection last feb it doesnt state because those factors, but because of travel history, current employment situation, purpose of visit and not a bonafide student. I ordered caips notes, thats why i saw what the visa officer comments on my case and those were never mentioned.
And when u apply on cic account there is no option to upload your police clearance.
However, still you can provide it at your convenience..
Sa pinas nope haha, sa cbsa oo may form na iffillup before landing sa port of entry
Hi @hopefulheart12 , will you be able to summarize the comments made by the VO on your Caips notes. I noticed that the current employment status is always included as one of the reasons of refusal for OFW applicants.
@peej06 yun COE ko na yun sa previous company, 2011 ko pa nirequest bago ako mag resign. Kailangan ba recent un certificate? or yun current employment lang need un dated for the last 3 months? Yun sumipa sakin di ko kilala, naka mandarin un Name e, hahaha. Basta nag iisang admin lang sya dun. Minsan lang ako mag comment s group na un na tyempuhan pa s admin mismo! Nang aapi kasi ng newbie e, wahaha bawal yun ganun. hahhaa, joke lang maya bigla ako makick out dito, wala na ako ppuntahan, mag aussie nlng ako! wahahaha.
Ako nilagay ko mga documents na walang option iupload sa letter of explanation, pinagsamasama ko lahat doon eg.nbi clearance, police clearance academic transcripts hehehe
Oo siya admin hahaha. Basahin mo yung manila visa office instructions, di mo pa ba nababasa yun? Nandun instruction ng proof of employment

In terms of employment status, he said that i have a stable job since I finished college in the phils, he couldnt determine the need why I need to study again.. BTW i graduated BS HRM in phils and taking Business Management major in Management in Canada.. So my story is really lonng and complicated.. so to cut the story short, you should be able to give them a solid valid reason why u need to study again..
Pwede ba magchange ng course pag nasa Canada na? Ano yun after ng 1st sem or 1 year dun ka magpapalit ng course or right after na magland ka sa Canada.
Eto din kasi pinagiisipan ko, gusto ko magshift ng career and take a new course sa Canada kaso baka hindi ko maconvince VO since more than 8 yrs na din ako sa work ko.
@hopefulheart12 , now I understand. I think we have a similar case, I graduated Nursing and switch to Admin field here in Dubai and currently employed as Digital - Project Coordinator for 6 yrs now. I will take Business Admin: Technology System Mgt, I will reiterate in my SOP that the reason of my study in Canada is mainly to upgrade my credentials which will straighten and expand my current expertise. And it will also increase my capacity to adopt new innovation in Technologies and methods (since Digital Company kami) after completion would lead me to higher-position (attaching an offer letter from my current employer). Tapos mention ko na din na concentration such Tech Sys Mgt is not offered in the Philippines, foreign Universities in Dubai on the other hand do not offer enough specialized and well-structured courses. I would say that Canada has the strongest global brands in terms of higher education and demand for Canadian educated professionals remain high in the Middle East and Asia.
I will try to elaborate this in my SOP, but let know guys if you have any inputs po. Medyo okey na ba to?
thank you peej06 sa response, ask ko lang din sana if itatanong ba kung may loan? panu kung nakalagay na ung pera sa account ko at d naman namin gnagalaw parang savings? makikita paba un na loan? malalaman paba nila na may loan kami dto sa UAE?
