what if e sponsor ang accomodation mo ng sister mo. pero ung tuition is ikaw. ano e sagot dun sa magfund? yourself or others. meron kami enouh fund sa required sa cic na 1 year..

Regarding the Letter of Support from your parents, was it a plain formal letter or was it in affidavit form (affidavit of financial support)?
Were the docs related to LOS and even the LOS notarized?

Thank you! Regular na formal letter lang yung akin. Ang ninotarize ko lang ay yung personal files like diploma, transcript, english letter etc... kasi photocopies lang binigay ko. Pero of course, whatever you feel na pwedeng mastrengthen ang case mo go gawin mo para no regrets talaga. Good luck!

this gives me relief din cuz I'm getting worried and paranoid na baka di ako umabot for September intake.. Sa May ko pa masusubmit application ko kasi im still waiting for NBI clearance pa (may hit kasi huhu)

Balak ko din talaga September para makapagrenew ng passport din kaso ayoko matengga ng matagal kaya pinush ko nalang kahit paexpire na passport at dun nalang ako magrenew at magextend ng study permit. Good luck! Dala ka lang extra money just in case na may additional tests na ipagawa (especially kapag may piercing or tattoo ka).

I am on TRV status po here in Canada (single entry). I am interested in applying sa University po dito and nakakuha na po ako ng acceptance letter.

Sa online questionnaire for eligibility to apply student permit, may mga tanong po na:

I am a primary or secondary student with visitor status in Canada; or
I am a visiting or exchange student with visitor status in Canada; or
I am a student who has completed a program of study that is a prerequisite to my enrolment at a designated learning institution with visitor status in Canada; or

Ano po bang ibig sabihin nung tatlong points sa taas? If sa Pilipinas po ako nag-aral ng ng secondary school at university, pwede ko po ba i-yes yung sagot? Or kailangan sa Canada nag-aral to answer yes? Very crucial po kasi yung sagot na Yes or No kasi kapag nag yes ako, sabi I am eligible to apply. Pag no naman, kailangan ko pang bumalik ng Pinas to apply student permit there. E bago pa kasi ako umalis ng Pinas nag submit na ako ng application sa university and ngayon ko lang natanggap yung letter of acceptance. Meron po ba kayong kilala na same sa situation ko na visitor dumating (under TRV) tapos naging student permit after?

I am a student who has completed a program of study that is a prerequisite to my enrolment at a designated learning institution with visitor status in Canada; or - Estudyante na ako sa Canada na nagtapos ng kursong kakailanganin para makapasok sa universidad (Example: English as a Secondary Language Classes)

What you have is a visitors visa not a study visa.
For a non-visa exempt country like Philippines, you have to apply study permit in the Philippines.
The time you can apply as a filipino inside Canada is if you already have a work permit.
So changing from work permit to study permit.

Hello po mga kabayan, I am a new student here in BC, Vancouver and my husband will be arriving under open work permit.
Bka po may makasagot sa inyo, kung sakali po bang makakuha sya ng permanent job can he apply EE (PNP) after one year even if i'm still studying? (full-time 1 year job)
His experience is NOC 0 for more than 3 years but not in Canada thats why our points in EE never make it.
Maybe his points will increase if he will apply for a PNP or look for an LMIA while under OWP.

I also wanted to change the degree I am currently taking from Management to Nursing.
Will it affect the application for EE if my husband will be the main applicant?

Tska Gaano po kadalas pwedeng icheck ang cic account para sa status ng application? May limit ga po sa pagccheck ng status? Sobrang tindi pala po ng paghihintay.. parang araw2 gusto ko po icheck kasi may mga nababasa po ako na minsan late dumadating ang email, pero sa Cic account eh may mga update na..

Hi when did you apply? I check my status everyday. I applied Feb 21 and until now no updates pa rin. Nakakawindang maghintay

Same here. Ako march 21 naman nagapply. Hahaha. Minsan twice or thrice ko pa chinecheck in a day haha

I am filling out the Application for visitor visa(TRV IMM5257E) for my child. How much do I need to indicate in the Funds available for my stay? Do I have to indicate the total amount of money of the family or divide it accordingly?

May I know what will I indicate in the purpose of my child's visit? She is 11 years old and is applying together with our application.

What should I indicate in her(child) purpose of visit? Will it be Short-term studies or visit?

That is for the international student only.
Kung international student ka na you can change your condition (change course or school and you must notify RCIC) or Extend your study permit.

So since I am on TRV (Visit Visa) only, I can enroll in a school which offers say 6-month course (this is allowed right) and I can "be an international student" tama po ba? Thereafter that I can "change" my status from visitor to student?

I am just looking for a workaround para po di na ko bumalik ng Pinas.
