As of now i still haven't taken my ielts and applied for the study permit yet so i still have those hurdles to go through. :o

I've browsed around and i hear ottawa has 4 months of severe cold months as opposed to toronto with a more reasonable climate. ...Well, good luck to both of us. congrats that you have your study permit already.

what's your timeline? and what's your score on the ielts? If i may ask?...

Hi! Guys! I'm currently waiting for my visa. I passed my medical and it was submitted last october 4. Anyway, i'm new in this site. Grabe search ko sa google kc kinakabahan na talaga ako. Ask ko lang if hindi ba magkaka problem kc i only pass my bank certification without its history for 4-6months. But regarding with the proof of income, okay nman po kc parents ko yong sponsor ko. Hayyy

And isa pa po, if Gods will ma approve po yong visa. Any tips po sa canadian life prticularly in vancity. Wala kc akong relatives dun or any friends from pinas. First time ko kinabahan ng ganito, i always travel alone pero iba ang kaba ng student visa. Laki kc ng gastos! Huh haha

I'm not sure if okay lang na walang bank statement but since nakapag pass ka na ng application mo pray na lang tayo na maging okay yun :)

I'm also waiting for my visa application result.. I applied last Sept 22, 2016 thru VFS and medical upfront ako.

Good luck and God bless sa atin. Sana makapasa tayo lahat :)

Hello po. Naku, sorry talaga.. Thank you po...

Hi congrats!!! I'm applying for student visa, and I'm bringing with me my husband and baby 1 yr and 9 months, I don't know if it will be a good decision considering the expenses of bringing my son to daycare and that will cost us big time, and I'll be studying for 3 years. I can work 20 hours per week and my husband 40
Hours I'm not sure if our income can meet our expenses. Still undecided to push through or not. Anybody here has the same case with me? Entered student visa with dependent working visa husband and with baby?

Meron dito sa forum who went to Acsenda. Try to backread.

Hi we have the same case, I'll be enrolling Sa ascend and I'm bringing with me husband and son 1 yr 9 months. The reason I want to bring my husband with me because I need him to support me with my expenses there, because if me alone with part time job of 40 hours per week, kakapusin ako. Tuition fee palang sakit na.

Do you mean the funds you're bringing in from the Philippines? I brought in CAD 5,000 as my settlement funds - this is not including my tuition and what I have to pay to my school. More than enough na yan, until you can find a job :) Basta hindi ka lang maluho.

What is the course you graduated from? And what kind of work experience do you have? Because I would recommend taking a post grad course connected to your profession/work experience. Mamaya ka na mag-switch to Baking and Pastry when your visa is granted. It makes a stronger case sa VO kung related ang course mo na kukunin dito.

Hmmm, all I can say is you have to have enough available funds to cover your tuition. Because if you are bringing your family over, your husband's income is enough only for your living expenses. You can work hard during summer breaks kasi pwede naman full time ka rin, but I don't think it will be enough to include your tuition. Plus mahal ang standard of living sa Vancouver. Marami nang na-grant dito kasama ang wife and kid, pero yun .... you have to have enough funds to cover at least your tuition, para hindi ka masyadong ma-stress.

Hi.. sorry very late na nang reply ko.. I got my refusal last October 6.. sad talaga ako and hubby.. But I am still hopeful, yung kapatid ko sa Canada nag order nang caips notes to figure out where we did wrong and from there mag resubmit kami satisfying the grounds for refusal.. Im thinking na baka e try ko mag Case specific inquiry muna before paying again for resubmitting my application.. posted below are the general reasons of my refusal.. I hope someone here can give light. by the way, sa Langgara din ako, Post degree course
