Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

Hi renz and venice! I am on the same boat as you guys. Narefuse din ako last month and i am reapplying, probably sabay tayo venice. Just waiting for updated copies of the bank certs, et al.

Btw, venice, regarding your medicals, share ko lang what I did. Called St. Lukes global - to ask how I could get a hold of my results in the IMM1017 format. The lady sent me a pdf file with the title head 'Information Sheet', may bar code and IME number at the top, a photo attached -taken on the day ng medicals, exam status 'completed' with particulars and date of submission. Looked a bit different from the blank form ng medical request. - in less then 5 mins I got the copy through email.

I hope this is the same 'medical' requirement we, reapplicants, have to upload.

Renz: I know, medyo strict sila kaya nirefuse nila application ko. Sana this time okay na ang lahat. Ask ko lang, PG diploma ba inaaplyan mo? or Diploma? Sige, tatry ko muna sila tawagan. Kapag wala pa din, pupunta nalang ako pagbalik ko. Sa University of Regina ako, Saskatchewan. Kaya yan, sana magkasabay kayo ng gf mo kase mas makakapgtulungan kayo when you guys get there. Trust lang tayo kay God.

Jvfll: Online kase ako nagapply so nasakin pa lahat ng docs since iniscan ko lang lahat sila. I don't think you need to get a new one kase valid yun for certain days. *correct me if Im wrong

Sige thanks! Yung bank cert mo ba na ginamit ung rin gamit mo nung nadeny ka? Nadeny rin kasi ako last month mag aapply ulit ako ngayon hindi ko na babaguhin bank cert since hindi naman kasama sa reason un kung bakit nadeny ok lang kaya?

Careful lang sa NBI clearance, according to the CIC checklist, kailangan at the most, 3 months before your application ang issue date sa NBI mo. Kung more than 3 months before your application date ang issue date ng clearance mo, you might have to get a new one.

For example: you applied today August 4, 2015. Kailangan yung issue date ng NBI mo ay May 4, 2015. Pag May 3 yan, di na pwede.
I applied on paper and they made me get a new one kasi kailangan recent daw.

Jvfll: Naku, I might have to get an updated Bank Certificate kase gusto nila yung updated version eh. One month ago na yung bank certificate ko kaya kuha nalang ako just to make sure.

Hi mic-mic, I believe your spouse and child will get their visas soon. I know the feeling. Because my husband and I are also waiting for our visa. We don't know what's happening with our application, since we applied through paper based. God will provide and help us.

Hi everyone,

I am inquiring on behalf of a friend who is in the process of submitting an online application. Can anyone confirm if for online, to follow lang yung NBI clearance? Sa online daw kasi forms lang yung required so far although nasa list of requirements yung NBI clearance.

She got in George Brown College for a one year diploma course. Start ng class is this coming January 2016.

She has to submit her NBI clearance with her application because it has been the cause of delay or even denial in some recent applications.
I think there's a way to submit it, I'm just not sure where to upload it because I applied on paper, but the others in this thread can help you.
