Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

No naman, I wasn't advised against them, they have a good reputation naman. In fact, I have a friend who is now in Toronto through them (FSW program). Kaya lang I decided to do it myself after reading here and through that same friend ... hindi naman din ganun ka-complicated ang student visa (saka barat ako hahaha) .... ikaw pa din naman ang maglalakad ng papers mo, they will just guide you. ahh..whew! important kase saken to have someone to guide me sis kasi i am very busy.. although i do not work for someone, i run my parents' business..and also take care of my son.. hehe..

sa January pa po ako... sa Red River College (Winnipeg) po... =)

Buti ka pa medyo maluwag pa time mo para magprepare.. Ako kunti nlng haha d na nga ako natuloy nagpamedical ngayon dahil sa bagyo, well sna bukas ok na ang weather huhu anyway question lng ulit, dko pala naimention sa SOP ko kung san ako magsstay dun if ever and wala pa ko naarrange na accomodtions, dko rin yun nabanggit dun sa letter ko. Ok lng ba yun? Worried ako bigla.. Tapos yun plang bank acct ko, walang in-out history ng pera.. Binigay lng skn kc tlga cash ng parents ko tapos dineposit na nila lahat sa bank under my name.. Pero may pinass naman ako na bank statements na both parents ko and consistent nman dun yung history ng pera nla kc pareho silang may work..

Hi sis hopeful..I am also applying student permit via Enhance Visa, also heading to ACSENDA in Vancouver..I just want to ask how long was your overall process? I am about to send all my docs to Enhance tomorrow.. THanks..

Sorry, it been a while i hav'nt visited this site medyo bz for the preparation we will fly by 1st week of August. forwarded our docs last March 27, got email notification for approved visa June 10.

Hi,

Is it important to get bank statements of 6 months or just bank letter saying so and so has so much money etc etc?

If you check the cic website it is REQUIRED na 4 mos dapat yung statement. Although I have read some na naapprove here did not even show their bank statements, bank certification lang. So I guess it really depends on the VO. But as much as possible, sunod nalang tayo sa hinihingi nila.

Only TRV for my husband and daughter. Yes, we're flying together sa August 5. Sabi sa agency pagdating nlng daw mag apply ng OWP. d o u have any idea gano katagal? upon arrival ba sa immigration? regarding Drivers license, I got a driving certification issued here in cebu pa red ribbon ko sana the other day kaso sabi ng DHL dapat sa QC daw kukunin kailangan ko magpunta ng Manila. Hahay!!

Hello everyone! Its my first time posting here in immigration forum and i must say, talagang informative tong forum na to kaya super thankful ako i came across this site yesterday. It's also nice that people are here are very helpful and friendly.

I have a few inquiries kasi medyo hindi ako sure kung ano gagawin ko.

I'm a graduate of BS in nursing but unfortunately no work experience. I had training in hospital for almost 7 months but no COE kasi traingn lng. I was planning to take LPN (liceensed practical nurse) in Vancouver and once i get my LOA apply for student visa.

LPN is considered in line to my profession ryt? kasi wat ive read dito is mas ok if ung course na i-tatake ko ay dapat in line sa education/profession ko. also, hindi nmn ng.ooffer ng LPN prgram ang philippines. im just scared baka i.deny ung student visa application ko. i just want to make sure na ok sa VO ung LPN na program pra hindi naman ma waste ung effort ko in applying only to have my student visa application rejected.

I honestly do not know.. same docu officer..miss ilyn too.. tipid siya sa mga updates eh.. if u dont mind, id like to ask what were the docs that u submitted? and how much was ur show money? mine is 762,000 tapos tuition of 250,000.. we wanted to apply as afamily but she advised us against it..though i think tama naman xa.. thanks.. how long did it take for u to receive ur LOA? i sent payment 2 weeks ago, until now, no LOA..

Hi there! i think naman in line pa siya sa nursing course mo.. make a strong SOP sis.. yan mga suggestions nila.. it should be informative enough to answer all the potential questions that may arise whenever the VO would review your papers.. Godbless!

ingat kau jan sis.. i did not mention in my SOP too kung san ako magsstay.. as for the bank accounts, sa both parents ko kasi ang sponsors..i did not include my bank account kasi it's maliit lang,hehe.. did u include in your letter na bigay un ng parents mo? sa account ng papa may napasok na 300k but we included the deed of sale of our car kasi we sold it, wala na kasi gagamit nun in case na ma approve.. para lang di ma question bat bigla may pasok na pera.. advise lang din un ng docu officer namin..

Yup dun sa affidavit of support ko nakalagay na sila yung nagbigay ng in cash ko undr my name sa show money acct ko na 600k then dineclare ko rin yung bank accts nla.. Medyo nacoconfuse ako sa dami ng docs na kelangan haha thanks sis! Good luck satin!
