Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

I read that passport photocopy is needed (front and back) kaya lang I do not have a copy of the back part. Makakalusot ba 'to for the medical exam when thy validate IDs? And I have read about pre-registering online, may nakagawa na ba nito for SLEC Global?

Hello.. Pumayag naman ang SLEC Global na front lang. Sinabihan ko sila na wala na sa akin yung passport, sinali ko na sa application ko sa embassy. Naintindihan naman nila kasi marami rin walang photocopy eh.. I also included photocopies of my birth certificate pero binalik din. Hehehe.. Photocopy mo rin valid ID mo. Just provide what they are asking on their website. And no, I didn't pre-register online kasi hindi ko masagot yung contact person and address. Hahaha! Wala kasi akong kilala doon sa Vancouver. In fairness, hindi naman super dami yung kailangan i-fill up doon. More on signatures lang. And by the way, be there before 7am kasi ang daming tao! Dumating ako ng 8am, tapos #22 na ako. Medyo mabagal sila kasi kunti lang ng staff. Bring addt'l money din, in case may ibang labs na ipapagawa.

Mga 2:30pm ata yun. Hinintay ko pa kasi magbukas yung cashier. If you don't feel well, pahinga ka muna then increase your fluids. Baka maging ok ka na the next day. Kasi aside from maybe getting abnormal test results, baka mastress ka pa doon. Lalo ka pa magkasakit niyan.

my partner is applying for student visa and im for dependent visa.
we are under an agency too, and we are hoping so much for a smooth progress...
we hope we can make it for the september intake in vancouver institute of prof. mngt.
im 5mos. pregnant and whic to deliver there so our baby won't be left out.
with all trust to our representatives, we know we can make it there

Hi kyle! May i just ask what documents did you send to the immigration regarding your common law partnership? My partner and i arw trying to get a student visa with common law dependent but, am afraid that we might not be able to send enough proofs.

Wala for the nurses, yung cashier lang. Continuous naman yung procedures. Although, merun lang talagang mga oras na naghihintay ka sa susunod na gagawin. Ang napansin ko, yung xray talaga yung matagal. Hindi kasi pwede na pumunta ka lang doon. By batch yung pagpunta tapos hindi same ng area. Nasa kabilang bldg pa. Nalipasan nga ako ng gutom. Ayaw ko kasing umalis, baka tawagin nila ako. Hehehe..

We got our medical exam done this morning. We arrived at St Lukes around 8am, #24 na kami. We finished before 3pm. I agree matagal nga yung xray. Parang it is better to arrive around 10am kasi yung mga kasabay ko sa xray mas late pa dumating sa amin. Fyi, may lunch break sina doc and yung xray personnels kaya medyo humaba ang waiting time. I was also asked to pay extra (around P2,800) for lab fees because of my tattoo and piercings. This can be done outside but I had it done there anyway. According to the staff, the results wills be forwarded to the embassy after 3-4wks. Ang tagaaal huhu! Its ok as long as we get positive results, right?

Yay! Natapos mo rin! =) Hindi ko napansin na may lunch break ang doctors. Napansin ko lang na hindi silang 3 agad nagpeperform ng exam. Lagi lang dalawa nung time namin. Hehehe.. Weird naman na pati yung sa xray may lunch break. Wala kasi sa amin. Palitan lang ng break yung staff. Hehehe.. And yes, yan din sinabi sa akin. 3-4 weeks pa raw. Aside from hopeful ako na walang abnormal results, hopeful din ako na mabibigay nila sa embassy earlier. Hahaha!

Is there anyone here choose to enroll in Manitoba particularly Winnipeg Technical College or Red River College? I am thinking to have a post graduate international business diploma? Please advise. Thanks a lot.

On the other hand, I noticed most of the SP visas approved no longer than 12 weeks but in CIC websites it statess there visa's processing in Philippines will be 12 weeks.... (maximum processing time po ba un?)

If I put VISIT, how will he apply naman for Work Permit? Nung nilagay ko naman WORK(other), parang hindi naman kasama sa fees to be paid ang TRV nya.

What is his real purpose ba? Because if you are applying for SP then he can apply for open work permit. If he is issued work permit, I think automatic na yun na may TRV sya.
