Hello ulit,
@zyzy:
Depende sa school if kailangan ng IELTs hindi sa embassy, yung sakin (VIPM) katulad din nung sa husband ni kyle - letter of english as medium of instruction lang pwede na, nagkataon lang na sinabi sakin ng agency na kumuha na for back-up plan.. Yung ibang school (some private and majority of public schools) may English Proficiency requirement for their diploma programs pero varying and usually mababa lang quota..
Kaso share ko din dun sa PRN na plan mag-paassessment sa iba't-ibang province (CRNBC,CARNA,CNO,etc.), ang kelangan nila according sa website is CELBAN or IELTS Academic.. Pati mas mura sa Pilipinas kasi nasa 9,xxx yung sakin pero pag-check ko dito sa Canada $310 (12,xxx) pala so depende na sa iyo, yung ibang province kelangan nila ng IELTS na valid 6 months from result date..
@JainaFel
Ang personal experience ko pag-nagaapply ng TRV and Study Permit is dependent sa supporting documents mo, we found out yung critical questions (unofficial) na dapat masagot ng documents mo since non-appearance yung application:
- Ano ang plan mo pag-dating sa Canada and gaano katagal stay mo (Study Plan, LOA, School & Program details)
- May sufficient funds ka ba and proof of income ng supporter mo (Sponsorship Letter, Employment Cert ng Sponsor or Proof of Businesses)
- Meron ka pa bang babalikan sa Pilipinas or plan mo na lumipat sa Canada for good (Personal properties or bank accounts or businesses, etc)
- Declared ba lahat ng necessary info or may discrepancies ba (Application form, previous refusal if meron, personal documents)
It's best to think of the worst case scenario para meron ka kagad back-up plan pero be positive with your application kasi if sinunod mo naman yung process and requirements then there should be no reason to worry.. And if nagbigay ng refusal sasabihin naman yung dahilan (on my case insufficient supporting documents) and wala naman grace period sa pag-apply ulit..
Pati praying won't hurt so Good luck!
