Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

Hello po!
Magtatanong po sana ako about sa refusal sa travel history. Andito po kasi ako ngaun sa UAE dito ako nagwowork currently. Nagvisit visa kasi ako dito with family ko po for 3 months then nag exit po ako sa oman pero ang sabi ko dun sa travel history ko is travel alone for 3 days. Tapos bumalik po ako dito sa UAE for 1 month visa then change status nlang po ako for employment visa. Which is legal po yun dito. Makakaapekto po ba yun sa application ko sa canada? Anyway may LOA na din po ako. Please help me po to answer my questions. Thank you!

Hello po! Applying din po ako for SP from UAE. Kamusta po application niyo? May LOA na po ako pero ang kinakatakot ko sa application ko is refusal dahil sa travel history ko kasi po visit visa ako before dito sa UAE then naghanap ng work tapos nag exit po sa oman tapos pasok po ulit ng UAE for 1 month visit visa tapos change status na po ako to employment visa. Baka po kasi isipin ng VO ganun din po gawin ko sa canada. And pano ko po mapapakita na strong family ties ko sa pinas? Please help po.

Medyo komplikado nga po un...better ask a consultant po pra po ma sure po ang ggawin.

Kaya pa po boss. Basta po at least 3 months before the start of program eh safe pa po.. IMO, much better po ang paper based application at upfront medical. Sa VFS po kasi nache-check na nila if complete na ang documents mo at kung tama pagkaka-fill up ng mga forms. Saka po sa paper based application, isa-submit na ang passport. So pag approved na application mo, tatatakan na lang ang passport mo. Unlike sa online na ire-request pa ang passport bago tatakan, which is additional time pa kasi pupunta pa ulit sa VFS. Upfront medical kasi po required naman talaga sa pinas applicants ang medical. Saka para malaman mo agad if may prob sa medical mo at ma-address mo agad. Kesa hintayin mo ang request ng embassy for medical tapos may prob pala, halimbawa hypertension or hazy x-ray result.

Ako lang din po nag-process ng application ko,walang agent

Last time I checked, tumatanggap pa ng applicants yung mga colleges na target ko. I will be taking my IELTS this Saturday. As soon as I receive the result (hopefully favorable), mag-apply na po ako sa colleges.

na-check mo na boss kung ilan crs score mo ngayon? kung nasa 440 ka po pwede ka na mag apply agad ng pr thru express entry. or pwede mo din po tingnan ang iba’t ibang provincial nomination stream ng bawat provinces.

if gusto mo po talaga mag aral bago mag apply ng pr, ang 1 year program ay qualified lang sa 1 yr post grad work permit. hindi po sgnificant ang crs score increase sa 1yr program at 1yr work exp lang. better to get at least 2yrs program or two 1-yr programs.

also, if the intended program is lower than the previous study, malaki po chance ng sp rejection. so, with a bachelor’s background, make sure po na post grad certificate or ms ang kukunin. unless po na ang previous study ay totally different sa current work experience gaya po ng sa case ko. took up aero eng back in the 90s but worked ever since in IT. kaya po na apporove ako for diploma program in computer technician.

@rogelcorral sir ask lng po if ok mag take up ng 1 yr business administration certificate but my bachelors degree ay major in accountancy? I have a small business po as of now. Tnx po

Ah so regular applicant ka pala. Ako kasi SDS at ilolodge pa lang ng agency ko yung application ko. Nagpapaschedule ka ba sa vfs para sa biometrics mo or deretso ka na dun? Baka kasi matagal pa pag nagpapaschedule.

Ay di ko lang alam process pag SDS kung pagkalodge kukuhanan kana rin ng biometrics, pero sa regular kasi by appointment online pero di naman mahirap magpa appoinment, kung gusto mo the next day pwede naman

Oh, I think need nga ng IELTS sa SAIT. Parang NAIT yun not required if nasa exempted list yun countries. I suggest double check SAIT’s website. I want to apply asap na din pero wala pa ko IELTS. The next avail schedule is January pa. And I still want to cofirm if they offer co-op for business in SAIT and PGWPP

San po ung IDP? Im here in Laguna po. Pero ung school po n ppasukan ko sna i think no need ng ielts...my nkalagay po kc s website nila ng mga list of countries that satisfy speaking and listening. Pero nag email po ako s school reg po s ielts kung required b nila. Antay plng po ako ng reply.

Pinaka importante boss ay yung ties to home country like family and property, jobs and opportunities. Then complete docs as per checklist

So kung 1year course lang ang kukunin ko, Sept to April (8mos) lang po ang classes ko then I take PGWP na.

While if 2 year course ako, bago magstart ang ika2nd year ko, meron akong 4 months to work full time before 2nd yr starts.

Now if I take a 1 year certificate course muna then decide to take up another 1 year course to complete a diploma, I can extend my study permit but I am not allowed to have a summer break. Dapat dredrecho ung 1st to 2nd program ko. Therefore, I can finish a 2year program in 16 consecutive months.

Paenlighten naman po ako kung paano nagwowork ung school terms jan sa canada. Salamat po!

Sa IDP Ortigas (Marco Polo Hotel) po ako nag-take. Computer-based IELTS yung kinuha ko kasi yung lang available sa Ortigas. I believe marami silang testing centers around Metro Manila. Not sure lang if meron sa provinces aside from Cebu.

Yes, some schools do not require IELTS, upon researching. Yung iba English as Medium of Instruction Certificate lang hinihingi. Better check with the colleges.
