Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

Pahelp naman po.

Im in the process of gathering requirements to submit sa chosen school ko which is Seneca College in Ontario. Medyo naguguluhan lang kasi ako with regard sa program na gusto ko itake - Social service worker. Im a graduate of hotel and tourism management so medyo malayo siya sa gusto kong kunin sa seneca.

Any advice naman if okay lang ba yun? Interested talaga ako sa mga pwede gawin as social service worker. Or tingin niyo kumuha ako ng program na related sa hotel and tourism?

Also im looking to join on january 2019. Anyone looking to go to seneca also?

And btw, yung SDS ba may agency yun or i can process it on my own? Mas okay ba yung regular processing or SDS way is better?

Hello po. We just receive LOA from school (1 yr program) for my husband. He’s korean and im pinay and currently residing in S. Korea. We’re applying for SP and OWP together.

We have enough funds but we just want to satisfy the officers so we decided to make affidavit of support from his parents since they will also support our expenses. Nalilito po kami what to do in AOS. Kelangan ko po ba ng AOS from his parents (or mention me and my husband) or should my husband execute another AOS for me? (Bale AOS from his parents for him and another AOS from my husband for me.)

Hello mga ka-forum. Ask ko lang po kung good plan po ba itong gagawin naming family. I will apply for SDS targeting either Sept 2018 or Jan 2019. Study for a year, then invite ko wife ko and two kids to Canada. Sino po ba mape-place ng application? Ako po ba while I am in Canada? Or, sila po ba dito sa Pinas? We're family of four and we're weighing our options kasi di biro ang money involved kung Regular Stream ung aaaplyan nmin.

Tas, allowed po ba ang wife ko to apply for OWP when she follows after one year? Salamat po.

1) Depende kung ilan hinihingi ng school.
2) Yes hindi mandatory na dapat nasa Canadian bank. Pwede PH bank pero dapat same or higit pa sa dami ng canadian equivalent.

4) Either malakas loob ng agency mo or wala siyang idea sa current approval rate kapag whole family nagapply. Mas better ikaw mauna para mas mataas chance of approval.
5) GIC can only be $10,000, no more than that.

Should my wife and kids be able to enter Canada with TRV, will my wife be able to apply for OWP given na may 1 year pa ako to complete the 2-year diploma program with Centennial? Kapatid, follow-up question lang po sa #5. Kung SDS po yung gagamitin ko, alam ko po na mas madali ako na makakapasok ng Canada. I just need to pay 1 year tuition and GIC. With this, ano pong route ng wife and kids ko to enter Canada? I read from Centennial International Student Centre handbook na I can invite my family to Canada after one year of studying with them. Should my wife and kids be able to enter Canada with TRV, will my wife be able to apply for OWP given na may 1 year pa ako to complete the 2-year diploma program with Centennial? Thanks in advance.

Nung nag submit ako ng old passport sa vfs, hindi ko muna pinabutasan kase ang tagal ng release ng renewed passport at gahol na ako sa oras. Any problem kaya? Thanks

If I'm not mistaken the only issue you will have is that your visa will only be valid for the duration of your old passport where you had it stamped. You can still use it, even if may butas na yung lumang passport (which they will do at the DFA whether you like it or not)

based sa na search ko before, mas mataas ang chance na ma grant kasi magkaibang course. basta ma defend mo ng maayos bakit kelangang sa canada/seneca college ka mag aral, eh meron naman ganyang course sa pinas.

Hi I applied my student visa online last August 2017 and I got approved po last Jan 2018 for April intake sa PICA culinary school sa Vancouver.
Kaso lng may problema po kmi sabay po kmi ng apply ng asawa ko sa akin student visa sa kanya OWP but till now wala pang update sa application nya " SUBMITTED lng nakalagay.Need na nmn makaalis ng bansa next month pero wala pa din visa nya,my question is Do you think it is safe that my husband and my daughter ( who is a british citizen ) can travel with me as tourist? Salamat po sa tutugon.
