Hi I just wanna tell you guys my story. I was a medical technologist sa pinas fresh graduate. I applied for a student visa then I was denied once. I immediately reapplied addressing the issues na minention ng visa officer. After 14 days i got my visa. Pagdating ko sa Canada ako lang magisa. I only had 1400 dollars in my pocket nothing else. My tuition was fully paid at that time. I was looking for med tech jobs or any jobs related but I was unlucky because they were looking for canadian experience.

I decided to swallow my pride and work as a janitor while studying biotechnology. I found a place to stay which is with Filipinos. After 3 months i got a job as a waiter. But i had to buy clothes kaso wala ako pera. I went to a second hand store para bumili ng sapatos at long sleeves. I started working as a waiter and my boss liked my job and made me permanent. I was working until 3 am in the morning hanggang bago ako pumasok kase i only work a few days a week because of the limit. Then I quit the job after a 2 months because my schedule cHanged. I got a job near the university but this time i worked as a produce guy. Start ako 6 am ng umaga then pasok ako sa skul.

After a year of university I was awarded as a president's list student, I was able to maintain my grades to a perfect GPA. The award opened doors for me as I got a job inside the university as a lab assistant. Then on my 5th semester as I still had a perfect GPA I landed the top spot for internship. Which is with a vaccine company (sanofi pasteur) doing biochemistry research. After a year of internship. They've been offering me a permanent position In research and development. Right now, I'm working on the HIV Vaccine that is being tested on South Africa.

The purpose of why I told this it to tell you that all the pain and suffering are worth it. Ilang beses ako muntikan sumuko, I'm glad I didn't. I hope you don't give up your dreams as they do come true.

Good day! Thanks for sharing your journey in Canada. Your story is indeed an inspiration to everyone who's already studying or will be studying in Canada. More blessings to come for you..

May I know your status in Canada now?

thanks

If the school requires High school grades does it mean yung form 137 natin dito sa pinas ang dapat ko isubmit sa application ko plus yung TOR ko sa college degree?
Please advise.

Hi, i am planning to study in canada for Fall 2017. Eyeing for Douglas college or Kwantlen Polytechnic university.

Graduate ako ng B.S. Office Administration last 2004 and currently working overseas as an Office Administrator.

My plan is to bring my family, i have 2 kids ages 15 and 5 by that time.

What is the best thing to do so that visa approval chances will be high.

Thanks

I think you need to insist from your school to release your form 137 since importante un na document for your application. I'm sure they will understand it. Certification is way different from form 137, as for my opinion only :) Lets wait for other seniors what is their say about your concern

Hi. Nurse din ako dito sa Pinas :) Anyway, I think okay lang yan ang course mo as long as ma explain mo sa SOP mo ung relevance ng course na kukunin mo sa canada, sa previous/current employment mo and sa course mo dito sa pinas. Di ko kasi masyadong kabisado ang PSW. Kelan intake mo? Anong school and province ka?

Unfortunately all records have been washed out during Ondoy kaya wala sila mabigay na records of my form 137.
What should i do kung certification lang ang mabibigay ng dati ko school.
