since first time ko mag book ng flight through online, yung e ticket ba yung mag seserve na pinaka ticket ko? Bibigyn pa ba nila ako ng paper ticket card?

(php 1,620). make sure to pay before queuing sa airlines mo else masasayang time mo.

then pagnakacheckin ka na bibigyan ka na nila ng boarding pass. dont make online checkin sa airlines mo kasi for sure magkaiba ng airlines sasakyan mo sa connecting flight.

Hello scorpio! I did online application since we already have a MYCIC account when we applied for a TRV when we visited Toronto last July. The good thing about it (in our case and in my opinion only) is that it displays previous applications so I was thinking it might be easier for them to see that we visited their country before we decided to study Sinama ko na din yung previous stamps, China, Canada and US visas sa old passport ko since brand new ang current passport ko hehe

Hi erwin, please bring also the credit card you used for purchasing the ticket because sometimes, check-in counters look for them. Have a print out of your e-ticket handy when checking in and paying for the travel tax

Hello fellow forumers!

Waitlisted po ako sa Masters Degree na apply ko in Torronto kaya nag-decide nalang po ako na Post Grad cert in IT Solutions (Enterprise Development) nalang po ang kunin ko. The university only accepts 20 students a year and in the past, pinakamadami na yung 2 international students. I don't want to risk it na kasi I might ran out of time waiting for the university's offer letter.

Happy din naman po ako sa IT solutions program since matagal ko na gusto mag-aral ng IT Problem ko nalang is economics ang background ko and I'm a businessman. We deal with printing and designing for media and we plan on venturing into digital/web desgning/developing services so I guess it makes sense na din po for expanding our business. My father-in-law is a president of an IT solutions provider here in the Philippines and I'll be asking a letter from him that indicates that the knowledge and experiences earned in Canada will be of great asset in managing his company. Thinking ahead, ito po kasi ang alternative plan namin if we fail to reach our desired result in the end.

I hope somebody can comment on my move and share his/her thoughts if my logic is flawed

Also, since I'm filling up my application forms, "UCI" keeps on showing, since I don't have this number, ok lang naman po na leave it black right?

I didn't print the forms na to sign it since may "VALIDATE" option naman.

actually sa study background mo medyo tagilid, just make a strong SOP, then yung UCI mo better write it. yung IMM something no need to print pero ung family info u need to print it.

Wait lang, hindi ba may UCI ka na kung ganun? Since may TRV application ka na before? tipsy might know.

Yes, u already have UCI. You can find it in your final letter – pp request email or in your TRV.

Ask your gf to call the airlines in Canada and verify her credit card. Kasi sa AA di naman pero sa cathay hinahanap. It all depends on the airlines.

As far as I know may travel tax ka pa din babayaran dyan s pinas. What you have paid in Canada is VAT and not travel tax. Check mo na lang sa airport or betteryet call the airlines.

Erwinjohn, 2mos na lng. I'm happy for u. Ano pla mga stopover mo? My mga max hours lng kc na allowed is magstay sa airport, otherwise you have to pay got transit visa. Yung eticket mo ipapakita sa airport and bibigyan is nla ng ticket with boarding pass when you check in. Make sure na yung 225 cad is the travel tax. Hindi nmn umaabot ng P2000 yung travel tax, around 50cad. And yep, pagkakaalam ko Cathay Pacific lng yung nagchecheck ng credit card

Kasi friend ung pagkakilala ko sa partnet ko sa application ko kasi gumawa siya ng letter for accomodation then sabi niya friend ko siya and mag sstay ako for temporary sknila until makahanap ako ng stable place.

just be honest sa mga tanong sayo and youll be fine.. once ka lang magbabayad ng travel tax, dun lng sa NAIA. check mo na rin sa PAL if ano pa need mo to enter Narita

Naawa ako sa kanya pero lesson yan, di dapat magdala ng credentials pag tourist ka lang. At the very least, ipa-mail na lang wag dalhin sa maleta . Mahirap na. Mabait nga yung CBSA niya at least hindi siya tinerrorize.
Meron din akong case nakita sa Australia naman. Tourist pero dinala ang business permit, police clearance, etc. Buti at pinapasok din pero not before siya nainterrogate.

Ask your friend to scan it tapos print out mo. Usually that should be enough, especially kung PAL naman yung airlines mo. And make sure you have enough pesos for the travel tax (mga P1,500 or something ata). Nung pumunta akong Singapore kasi I had to borrow from my travel companion kasi I brought converted na lol.

I deferred to September. May nakita kasing scar sa lung ko so I have to take additional medical tests that will take eight weeks. Pero okay lang yun. Kailangan magtiis muna.

Oo nga, ang bait nung agent na naghandle sa kanya. May nakita din kase akong episode na masungit yung agent, yung medyo may edad na naka eyeglasses na babae, yung maiksi yung buhok. Hehe!

By the way guys, may tanong ako. Dun sa form IMM1294E APPLICATION FOR STUDY PERMIT MADE OUTSIDE OF CANADA. Dun sa Cost of studies: Tuition, Room and board and Other, ilalagay ko ba yung total cost for the whole 2 years of my studies?
